Miles update.

So about 10ish last night a lady in the neighborhood behind my apartments called and said she had Miles in her back yard. He was apparently there with the raccoons eating the food she leaves out. She’d tried to get him inside the house but he freaked on her a bit, and she knew it was him from the ripped ear. We went there and Miles had gotten under her porch, and when Jeff went in to get him he slipped out from under it and then under a hole in their fence. So basically the fucker bolted.

I’m SO ANNOYED that we couldn’t get to him BUT...now I know both what area he is in and that he is not dead. So. Next plan:

These are lost pet flyers and are going on the doors of every house I can get to. I also have some big ones I’ll be putting on stop signs. I call it operation: get-this-woman-her-cat-back-so-we-can-stop-hearing-about-him. Working title.

I’m so relieved that Miles is okay y’all have no idea. I even approve of his new raccoon friends. But they are clearly a bad influence and he needs to get home!
