to avoid any misgendering I will only be referred by the same honorifics as the Goblin King
My SpIn is space and horses!! I go nuts when I get to talk about space. I knew more than my teachers! I have a rock painted as space. And I end up yelling when i talk about her bc i get so hyped. And horses are so fun to do stuff with. I go crazy go stupid when I ride them. The way you can feel them moving under you. I have tons of books on them as well!
I am so scared of horses. you are so brave for riding them. Do they ever do that weird lip thing when you feed them? What does it feel like...I’m so scared...
I moved the super small “leftovers colony” in to one of my swarm boxes and their comb is absolutely crazy. There is a bit of nectar stored in some of the cells, and there was one (1) completed honey cell. The rest of the cells were strewn about with eggs and larvae of drones. Since this is a queenless colony, and has been for well over a month, maybe two, the workers have been laying unfirtelized eggs in the cells.
All in all, this colony is a disaster and I needed to free up that hive anyways. I’ll let them smell up one of my swarm boxes until they die off, so that maybe they will gather me up a useful colony of bees.
This is just a testimant to the durability of honeybees. Even in the face of collapse, they continue to work and build and make more bees. Though a sizeable portion of their colony is drones now, so they will never make honey.
Estimated total of bees in this colony: less than 200
What we do to animals is a disgrace.
Live and let live.
