12:30 pm called apartment office to complain that neighbor is once AGAIN bbqing in the grassy patch right outside my door. Person from office says ok we'll take care of that.

3:30 pm and still nothing has been done. Bbq grill is still going strong.

Not only was it clearly stated in our lease that we are not allowed to have grills. We all received an email, texts and multiple flyers (months ago) telling us that the fire marshals in our county do not allow bbq grills in multiple dwelling apartment complexes. The email (which they sent after a bbq grill literally started a major fire in one of the other buildings) clearly stated we had until a certain date (which has come and gone a few months ago) to remove all BBQs from the complex.

The neighbor has used the bbq multiple times since that date. But I got feed up and called today because it has been extremely hot and dry the last week and the grass he is bbq in is literally crunchy with how dry it is. He lives in the up stairs apartment and comes out every few hours to check on the grill. It would be incredibly easy for a fire to start and quickly spread.

The whole thing just makes me so completely angry. I hate when people are allowed to literally break the law and experience literally no repercussions.
