I like to think that our reflections give us a peek into our alternate lives. I wonder if he can smell the flowers in his world.
Oh no...
When I left to check on my parents, nothing was ready for me to snack on.. I just realized that with my loss of taste and smell ...don’t know when I will get it back since it can take months sometimes ... I won’t be able to taste my veggies 😩 I planted so many new heirloom varieties of tomatoes I wanted to eat fresh.
My oldest daughter did shared our harvest while we were gone and she says all her friends fell in love with everything. So she called and they will be coming tomorrow to harvest again. Thank goodness cause I sure don’t want things to go to waste.
It brings me joy that other kids are enjoying our harvest.

No taste No smell
So I made a super spicy salsa to top the chicken soft tacos 😒 all I can feel is some of the capsaicin then it was gone. My daughter was coughing 🤣 🥵 so I knew it was hot!
🤔 maybe I should enter some type of competition, who can eat the most hot salsa 🤣

Okay, so one of the biggest reasons I am raising awareness about anosmia is this situation right here. Most of the times I've opened up and told others about having no sense of smell, they react like this.
I know it might be surprising to find this out about your friend or loved one, but can people actually PAY ATTENTION to what has just been said here?
If I tell someone I can't smell...what makes them automatically think we're in some kind of TV show where they can challenge my inability to smell by sticking random things in my face (so I can according to them) magically realize I can smell now or prove how much I can't?
Friends and family, please stop doing this. K Thanks!
