Unfold

Life has many folds, twists, turns, and abysses,

We try to unfold and straighten the creases,

But it's a delicate job, even hazardous, as

The folds are hidden and need to become clear,

Straight, and easily seen, analyzed, and far

From misunderstandings and misgivings.

Is it a thing to need unfolding?

The simple answer is: 'Yes, it absolutely needs doing!'

In this world, where there so many possibilities

For problems to unfurl, it is imperative to realize

That clarity in speech and actions aren't always

Perceived as they are, but rather given a political,

Even social agitprops that have tendencies

To insite people into violent and intolerant behavioral

Activities, that help increase gaslighting's imposing

Ideologies. They incur great wrath, aggressing

Against others' rights, stripping them of dignity,

Pride, selfworth, even their humanity.

As humans, we need to untangle our ingrained

Stereotypes by humanizing each other, and accept

The difference the same way we accept

That siblings differ, though they come from

The same set of parents, gene pool, and environment.

Unstereotyped house things!!

Gryffindors making lots of friends with Slytherins and being the one worried about everyone, not wanting people do so stupid things for fear of them getting hurt.

Ravenclaws who would rather do anything than touch a book, who have an interest in learning but not in school. Who have phases of both “I’m gonna put Red Bull in my coffee” and “omg why would you put Red Bull in your coffee?!”

Slytherins who are kind, who may be masters at manipulating but use it to help students gain self-confidence when they need it and take down bullies. Who have lots of Gryffindor friends and laugh loudly, who are accepting of everyone. They Get Shit Done

Hufflepuffs who aren’t bright and cheerful balls of fluff, but who have tired eyes and just don’t feel like putting up with anyone. Hufflepuffs who have trust issues and a hard time connecting with others, and who are the ones to do completely reckless and stupid things regardless of danger.

Or just all the houses having their own friend group all together, sticking with each other through good and bad, and just trying to make it through this crazy game called life. The houses not feeling invalidated no matter the stereotypes.

Would people please stop making fun of Taylor Lautner? He was in one series that got him stereotyped forever and you’re poking fun at him?! And what about Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, I admit that I have made fun of both Taylor and Robert before, but I now realize that’s not okay. My post about Taylor reading a book is funny because of Jacob Black, not Taylor. And my post where I was poking fun at Robert Pattinson because of him being Batman isn’t fair, he’s a good actor. Also you don’t even know what type of Batman he’ll bring into the role, and even Tom Holland was excited about it. And Kristen Stewart is a badass, no questions asked. You also don’t know anything about these people personally, all you see is from interviews and tabloids,  you don’t get to judge. They could be amazing or they could suck, you really don’t know.

My point is they it’s not fair to judge someone by one of their roles, and it’s not okay to make fun of anyone, regardless of your opinion of them. This may not be that popular of an idea, but deep down you know it’s not fair to judge people in that way.
