On this day in 2019, nine months after Papa died, I travelled again.

All the good things I did in a lifetime was paid in a week when Papa died. In Carabao Island, he was still on my mind - constantly. But I remember feeling better, feeling good about my body and feeling thankful for this world.

Maam sa may puti ka lang magligo ha.

Wala [gapang-ankit]. Amo na ang buot nga sawa.

It’s really you on my mind.

Anxiety attack—or rather along the lines of screaming and thrashing like my sugar at dropped. But it hadn’t..and all of this happened at the dialysis facility.

I scared the people there, ended up being the last patient there, two nurses argued over my remaining time and my aunt who has been taking me back and forth had to get her daughter to drive because I was so late and she can’t drive at night.

I should have just died.
