Do the boys get rewards for participating in experiments? Do their handlers ever go "okay children time to get blood drawn!" and they all go "yayyy!" because getting blood drawn means getting a sweet treat instead of their usual nutrient paste, except for Z2 who feels excluded bc he has no blood to draw and just gets a sucker for sitting there politely?
It's more like "okay children, if you sit still as we draw your blood, you won't get punished!"
They don't get candy.
