Cordelia and Lon’Qu were incredibly nervous and scared after present!Severa was born because they had no idea how they’d parent someone they knew would be a girl in the future, especially considering Lon’Qu’s issues. Selena is partially scared of going back to Ylisse because she knows when she returns, everyone will know she’s a trans woman because of her present self having been born. Inigo actually hits on Severa so much to reinforce that people do think of her as a woman. Part of the reason Severa is so hateful against Pegasi is how they never let her ride them as a child, and she took that as an insult on her feminity. Once she got older, she figured out that it was because of her hostility, not her trans status. She can ride Pegasi now. She’ll never admit she was wrong, though.Takumi is a trans guy. Part of his intense disdain for Corrin stems from his frustration at his family idealizing a time in the past that he finds it incredibly difficult to look back on because he was forced to not be himself. He spent a long time attempting to learn to use the Fuujin Yuumi because he believed only men could do it and he saw that as affirming, and he was crushed when he learnt women could wield it too after the fact. Sakura bought him his first binder after getting tired of having to heal him from doing it in unhealthy ways.Beruka’s parents abandoned her at a young age because of her femininity. She gravitated towards her adopted father at first because he let her be feminine, but over time, he began to enforce in her that femininity was impractical and a weakness and emotionally manipulated her into suppressing it. She’s distant and untrustworthy because of the duality of the first man who let her be feminine also teaching her that femininity is her greatest weakness. Camilla deliberately plays up her femininity around Beruka to try and undermine that, by being someone who is both extremely feminine and strong.Soleil had an extremely difficult time figuring out she was a woman at first because of how closely she related to her father, and how attracted to other girls she was. Once she came out, she tried to rationalize away her lesbianism as jealousy, but that didn’t work, and she quickly started falling for girls again. Odin attempted to help her choose a new name, but she found them all very silly, while Selena took her shopping and taught her dressing and stuff. The Soleil/Ophelia B support happened because Soleil was so overjoyed at the chance to try out a cis female body that she took it way too far, and was horribly guilty afterwards. Shigure painted pictures of her at each stage of her transition, and his final one, of them, together, brother and sister, is her most beloved treasure.- Mod GF
