Green Party wins Cliftonville by-election called after councillor jailed

The by-election was called after the Cliftonville ward's serving councillor was jailed for coercive behaviour.

EXCELLENT NEWS 💚

This council seat isn't far from where I live, and it covers a deprived coastal area - same as the seat I live in - so this has made me very, very hopeful.

BTW, the reason the by-election had to be called was because the previous councillor, who had been elected on the Reform ticket, was jailed for coercive or controlling behaviour towards his wife. Yet more proof, if it were needed, that the far right don't care about 'protecting women and girls' - please remind people of that, when they attack migrants and trans women using the 'women and girls' line as cover for their hatred.

I swear to god some people doesn't give a shit about sa/csa survivors. Especially those people who accuse the LGBTQ+ community of "grooming". Surprise, say "it's ok yo be gay" ≠ grooming. Stop being fucking stupid (I literally was abused by conservative homophobic hetero man btw).

Honestly, the most frustrating thing about Tumblr is how poorly people use the tags.

I was looking for my favorite asoiaf character: jon snow, and there is almost nothing of him, in his own tags. or he is mentioned as a viewer in an example, or as an underdeveloped romantic interest in a ship, or they throw hate at him to elevate another favorite... please respect and tag correctly
