"White people should've complain about forced diversity in fantasy stories" says person complaining about white people complaining about forced diversity in fantasy stories.
Of course, plenty of minorities, myself included, also complain about forced, awkward diversity. Especially when it doesn't make sense for the world's level of development.
Most people in history never went more than a few miles from their home, but a lot of works show medieval-style cities and towns with the ethnic diversity of modern New York or London. Even in places that are supposed to be ethnically isolated, like in The Wheel of Time.
This idiot's trying to internet-psychoanalyze countless people he's never met and doesn't even want to talk to, just so he can ignore their actual arguments for Internet Points.
I also find it ironic that this was posted on Tumblr by alwaysBeWoke, who blocked me because I disagreed with his racist nonsense.*
I also like how they failed to realize the heroes of The Hunger Games, including Katniss, were mostly working class rural people oppressed by the rich, centralized government. Working class rural people are typically conservative, and conservatives generally oppose centralized power and support smaller government.
And also individuals’ right to bear arms, which is what allowed the revolution to even happen. While the left and progressives generally support gun control.
Heck, last time the left caused a big ruckus, Democrat officials across the country refused to charge them for rioting or breaking COVID rules. You really think you’re the plucky rebels?
Not only did ABW make a cringy comparison, the comparison is still blatantly wrong.
*PS: We’re both black Caribbean men. I disagreed with a point he made about black people, which was co-signing an abusive, upper class fictional black father who was yelling at his daughter in front of a private jet.
