Late Night Confessions
Pairing(s): Losers Club x Beverly Marsh (platonic)
Warning(s): Girls liking girls in the 80s/90s
A/n: Bisexual! Beverly
It was a sunny afternoon when the Losers Club went to the quarry. A joy of splashing water at each other quickly became a game of who could stay the least dry, and more fun games continued when it suddenly turned night. The Losers dried off on the rocks and put their clothes back on then laid down to stare at the stars. Well, some were looking at the stars, others were sitting looking at the dim moonlight that was causing the rocks glisten.
That’s when Richie decided to play an ‘innocent’ game of stupid confessions. Turns went round and round when it finally stopped at Beverly. She took a moment to look down and smile reminiscing the memory, she wanted to tell her friends but didn’t know if they’d be okay with it. If they couldn’t accept it, then she knew that they weren’t true friends, so she took in as much breath as she could and sighed. She raised her head to stare at her friends and smiled, “I kissed a girl once. It- it was nice.”
One by one the boys of the losers club eyes widened slightly and glanced at one another only to turn back to Beverly who had her head down again. She was waiting for the judgemental comments when Ben asked with acceptance in his eyes, “how’d it go?”
Beverly drew her head up once again and saw the acceptance in all of the Losers. “She- Her lips were cherry flavored. Her hair was slightly silky. Her skin was rough, yet smooth, She smelt like ink and books. Her eyes were just the right shade. She...she was just...perfect...” Beverly basked in the memory with such love and purity, each one of the boys could tell that this girl meant a lot to Bev.
“W-w-where is she n-nuh-now?” Bill asked, truly wanting to meet this girl. Beverly turned to Bill and answered him with a sorrow smile, “I don’t know...”
