Mickey’s eyes track his movement as he walks around the store. They rake over his body when he thinks Ian isn’t looking. He steals glances when he and Mandy do homework at the table. They don’t acknowledge. Aren’t anything beyond being Mandy’s brother and Mandy’s boyfriend.

But behind closed doors, Ian knows how Mickey’s skin feels. How he’s soft but hard and pliant all at once. The quiet moans he stifles when Ian makes him feel good. He knows how hot and tight Mickey is. Who he is under all that rage. Because he’s Mickey’s secret. And Mickey is his.

They hit the john before they got back on the road. Pissed in outdated urinals, washed their hands.

Ian watched Mickey closely. Every turn, every strut, every smirk. That’s how he noticed that Mickey flinched when the hand dryer shot to life.

“Mickey Milkovich.” Ian laughed. “You can dump a mob boss in the Chicago River but you’re afraid of a little hot air?”

“It’s fucking startling.”

Mickey paused in the doorway. Tilted his head. Looked up at Ian. “Keith … he never noticed that about me.”

Ian elbowed him, defusing his sadness. “I’m going to learn all your secrets, boyfriend.”

Light nibs press against Mickey's throat, under his Adam's apple that just wobbled.

Mickey gasps, his eyes unfocused as he paws at Ian's back.

"Mick."

All he senses is a low rumble through his neck. He can't comprehend what's happening before Ian shifts in front of him and looks at him hard, like it's directed at his soul.

"It's not a secret but…" Ian smiles. "I love you."

His eyes widen. What?

There's a reassuring hand on his thigh. "You don't have to say it back."

What can he say? How can he convey what he felt in three words?

Secret

I'm damn sorry I wasn't there last week, but life has been stressful. However, I came back and here are my 100 words. I thank @galladrabbles and @too-schoolforcool for the prompt.

Mickey successfully handles the last belt buckle on his chest and assesses his appearance in the mirror. He checks again to make sure his leather shorts with lacing on the sides are all right before opening the bathroom door.

An unsuspecting Ian is waiting for him in the bedroom. It's no secret that it was Gallagher who once helped Mickey to liberate himself. However, Mickey is still damn proud of himself when he sees the devilish flame in his Red's eyes.

“Ho-ly shit,” Ian whispers before sliding off the bed, falling to his knees in front of a grinning Mickey.

“I’m Terry’s messenger,” Colin grinned. “Dad doesn’t much trust the bog witch, so he likes having one of his own in the room when messages are delivered.”

Ian pulled a face, “Bog witch?”   

“Queenie Svet,” Mickey supplied as he eyed his brother. “So, how much of what you’ve seen are you planning on reporting back to Terry?”

Colin took a step closer and gave Mickey a mocking punch to the shoulder. “Your secret stays with me, little brother. I have no interest in getting on dad’s bad side on this. Not when all the rest of the news is good.”

Thanks to @too-schoolforcool's great @galladrabbles prompt 'Secret' I actually attempted another one of these!

“That last drink was a mistake” Ian says.

They stumble through his apartment until he gets Mickey to the bed. Ian pulls off the brunette’s boots, when he reaches for the button of his jeans Mickey starts to giggle, proving Ian’s point. 

Mickey Milkovich. Giggling.

“Gallagher.” Mickey whispers, grabbing Ian and pulling him bodily down. Ian grunts as he lands on top of the other man. 

“What Mick?” Ian asks.

“I have a secret.” Mickey whisper shouts. 

“What?” Ian whispers back. 

“I love you.” 

Ian pulls back, stunned. It’s the first time he’s said that.

“I love you too, Mickey.”
