We take turns prompting on Mondays - each week one of us will submit a prompt via Ask to this blog which will get posted both as an answer, as well as in the updated roster, somewhere around 5 p.m. GMT;
Prompts can be pretty much anything: a word, a phrase, a quote, a song, a picture - go wild; and don’t worry, your drabble doesn’t need to contain the exact word(s) - as long as the overall theme fits, you’re good;
Whoever sets the prompt sits that week out;
You have until Sunday to write and post exactly 100 words - make sure to tag @galladrabbles so we can reblog it; bear in mind, though, that only drabbles posted before the new prompt is announced will get reblogged;
Anything goes: AU, canon-compliant, fluff, angst, all dialogue, outsider POV, etc.;
You can write as many drabbles as you want, as long as they’re different takes on the same theme; if you want to turn your drabbles into a series, you can do that too, as long as you wait for the next prompt; splitting a longer story into 100-word chunks is not the same thing and only your first one will get reblogged;
If you want to join, just shout and you’ll be included in the roster - we’re dying to have a reason to update it 😁
If you just want to write drabbles without ever setting prompts, you can do that too;
Feel free to sit out if you're not inspired or you don't have the time or energy - this is supposed to be a fun game and the last thing we want to do is become a stress factor.
