Mickey clapped to quiet the crowd. “You three, with me. Now.” He led Ian, Viviette, and Edmund into the library.

Viviette spoke sternly. “Edmund, you cur. What is this feeling you’re so sure of?”

“I watch him breeze past you. He doesn’t love you, m’lady. Not like I do.”

“You were patient once before. Why speak up now?”

Edmund glared at Ian. “I’ll not let this snake make a mockery of tradition.”

Mickey opened his coat, revealing his pistol. “You better round up all the friends you got. No one doubts our future lord and lives to tell about it.”

The Sellsword and the Mage, Part 75:

“There are other places, Mick.” Ian cupped Mickey’s face in his hands. “We’ll take a ship to the Springlands.”

Mickey shook his head. “Milkoviches by the dozen.”

“Okay. What about the elves? I met a couple of elves a few years ago. I could try to get a message into the Elflands; request sanctuary.”

“The friends you got, man.”

Ian winced. “Never said they were friends. Acquaintances at best.”

“Then why the fuck would they stick their necks out for us?” Mickey scoffed.

Ian exhaled a breath through pursed lips. “You’re really willing to go to the Tower?”

Mickey nodded.

Hiralu was not where he should have been. He was only 12 years old and should have been at the junior high. Instead he was throwing setting up flyers around the high school, then handing them to older students. He even attached some of the flyers to bikes with paper clips.

The flyers were advertising his family’s flower shop. Hiralu wanted to do whatever he could to help get business for the shop. He also sometimes delivered flowers on his own bike.

Hiralu hadn’t gotten in trouble for throwing flyers every where yet. So he figured he would never get in trouble, but he really shouldn’t have been doing it. Maybe one flyer would have been okay, but he had been throwing them around and handing them to every student he saw. 

He spun around and quickly shoved one of the flyers in another student’s face. It didn’t matter how tall they were, he would find some way to get it right in their face. “Hey hey you! You should buy flowers! Do you have a girlfriend or boyfriend? Mom? Dad? Grandparent? Buy them flowers!!”

26. My muse is temporarily blind.

“Fenedhis!”, he cursed and rubbed over his eyes. He sat in the middle of nowhere, trying to regain his old powers and then this stupid spell backfires and hit him directly into the eyes. His sight was gone in an instant. Solas was thankful for his other senses, which were rather sensitive, but without his eyes, he was kinda screwed. He may have to wait a few days, before it got better. 

Solas sat on an opening in the forest, sighing deeply.
