He’s so frigid. You should have gone for the knife-wielding Second.

Yes, don’t mind the most spoiled child in the world pouting at Wisely. She knew Gradeus liked children, so the offer of fostering someone like him... was not unexpected. Still, was she petty? Jealous? Demanding? Possessive?
The answer is yes to all of them.
My muse has been having the same nightmare for weeks now and it’s taking it’s toll. Send me “You look exhausted.” for my muse’s response.

He was exhausted, but he couldn’t exactly help it. Staying awake was better than to be asleep if he knew the same nightmares would influence him during the night. He loved sleeping, so this made it all the more problematic to him. Wisely rubbed his eyes, stepped forward and leaned against his guardian, head resting on his chest. “Didn’t sleep well, is all,” he muttered, wondering how he was supposed to survive the rest of the day without any sleep.
M-21 ruffled the younger’s locks, he knew that look, when nightmares would plague your mind without end to the point that one avoids sleeping in an attempt to escape it’s nasty grasp. Though sadly it would only make things worse since they were the ones to suffer the consequences, still it’s not like it’s something that can easily be avoided, but there are things that can be done to help. “I have an idea,” he voices, already making his way to his bed and leading Wisely with him. This would be one of the times he was grateful that Frankenstein gave them all a big bed to be able to ‘sleep well and more comfortable’. “Spend the night here if you want, I have a book I want to finish reading so I’ll stay awake a while longer, I can play some music for you to help you sleep if you want. Perhaps I can chase the nightmares away.”
He truthfully wasn’t sure if that would help, but he rather want to keep the younger one company and if nightmares really did come back he can wake the other up before they became too much. “What do you think?”

── “ You can just sit there and MOPE, but i’m getting out of here. ” Kanda growled, moving himself around the dark chamber. Finding himself trapped with Wisely was certainly not something he ever wanted to deal with, but now was hardly the time to deal with that. For now, he needed to get them both ( or at least just himself ) out of this terrible place─ He could figure out what to do after that point.

He needed attention, as usual, but alas. “Nah, but you do. You alright?”
“I’m not having the best of my days, but that will pass. Don’t you worry.”
@noahwisdom continued from here // wisely & gradeus;;
『 EXHAUSTED WAS AN UNDERSTATEMENT, 』 because Gradeus was almost certain that if he stood up now, his knees would give way, and he would fall right back to the couch. The noise of the TV grated in his ears, and he was getting to the point where the cheesy acting and every ridiculous joke uttered just pissed him off that much more. He wanted the damn thing off, before it drove him insane and earned itself a boot through the screen and a trip to the dumpster.
But... fuck it. Damn, damn, damn. When Wisely asked so nicely, there was no way that Gradeus could say no. Damn it. The kid had even said please. And even slid up to him and gave him a kiss. God, he’d have to be a monster to refuse.
With a sigh, Gradeus lifted Wisely from his seat and plopped the boy down into his lap, wrapping his arms loosely around the kid and settling down with Wisely’s head under his chin.
❝ Okay, okay. We can watch until the end. ❞ Were all kids this warm? Then at least Messad had declared herself thoroughly exhausted and had crawled into bed already; if he had the two of them next to him on the couch, he might just fall asleep right there and then. ❝ What’s got you so hooked this episode that you’ve gotta stay awake, huh? ❞
Though he wouldn’t lie: It was really nice to spend time with Wisely. He saw his kids every morning, and dropped them off at the school before heading to his own classes, and took them out to play after he went work -- but somehow, it didn’t seem like enough. It felt like ages since he’d sat down with Wisely or Messad and just... done something together.
Maybe he needed to change his schedule around a little. He still needed to keep up his coursework to maintain a scholarship, and with two kids he couldn’t exactly lessen his work hours, now. Maybe a babysitter? ... but he would worry about that later. Wisely was here now, and Gradeus should enjoy himself with the kid.
❝ Did you drink your milk yet? One cup a day, okay? Don’t forget. ❞

Englad held many memories for Allen, and even more so London, including the ones that were so vague it only gave him a sense of what he had felt. Allen hadn’t even meant to be around this area, but in truth he had long hidden somewhere in his mind this part of his life.
It was only as he caught glimpse of the fence that Allen felt like he had been punched.
This place. This orphenage. His right hand suddenly clenched around his left wrist, Timcampy peeked out in worry for the sudden change in his master.
His gaze seemed to look far away even while being on the building, face pale and almost sick in his stomach. A part of him first froze his body on spot longing for the informations only them could give him, the name of the person that had taken care of him for the first five years of his life. But then the repressed memories started to wake, harsh words and looks, and the only vivid memory that had lead to his expulsion.
Allen turned on the spot and walked away at a fast pace. He didn’t go far, in the state he was in, he collided with another body and stumbled while staying upward, not without the instinct to reach out with his right arm to keep the other person upright.
“I-I’m sorry! I wasn’t-” Oh, his voice couldn’t seem to come out well, high pitched at the apology, then catching in his throat. He knew his expression had turned way too blank to be natural, although at least the impact had brought his mind back to the present.
