"'How did you get there, Nobby?'
'My mum says I'm insidious,' said Nobby, grinning."
Colon and Nobby outside of the Watch books are just them
I feel Nobby Nobs should be played by a muppet in Discworld Adaptations.
HAPPY HOGWATCH EVERYBODY!!!!!
"They always give me bath salts,’ complained Nobby. ‘And bath soap and bubble bath and herbal bath lumps and tons of bath stuff and I can’t think why, ‘cos it’s not as if I hardly every has a bath. You’d think they’d take the hint, wouldn’t you?"
Hope y'all enjoy Hogwatch, whatever you're celebrating! 😊

i keep misreading sam vimes as sam vines and im like... vines but in discworld
That would be an honest-to-god fucking nightmare.
I feel like if the concept of vines popped up in the discworld (and, for the record, it 100% sounds like a viable B Plot for a novel), Sam Vimes would be driven out of his mind stopping people from doing any number of Dumb Fucking Things. Starting with people daring each other to touch Nobby’s bare skin, escalating to whatever horror that wizards are cooking up For The Vine.
Dwarves try to prank trolls, trolls bash dwarves... but it’s not a hate crime it’s For The Vine we swear, Commander. Carrot can’t figure it out and just uses it to record little commentaries about areas of the city he likes. He’s hugely popular. The Fools Guild think they’ve found their true calling but everyone is just vaguely uncomfortable watching their vines. At this point, every time Vimes sees a recording device he gets That Much Closer to going completely postal.
Moist absolutely milks it for all its worth, he somehow wracks up an unimaginable number of followers and increases his stamp sales exponentially. Vimes wants to personally strangle him for encouraging this.
William and Sacharissa definitely try to report on popular vines and it’s exactly as excruciating as listening to the news nowadays talk about popular memes. If anything, they might just manage to kill it.
Things come to a head when a vine is posted of someone trying to sneak up on and surprise Vetinari... but it just cuts out suddenly and it was posted with an anonymous account and the whispered rumour is that the patrician himself posted it as a warning to others who let themselves get too... swept away by this current craze.

He recently served as a writer/producer on the remake of Das Boot for Sky Atlantic and Sonar Entertainment having been a showrunner on The Musketeers for BBC One. He has worked on multiple high-profile shows including Strike Back for Sky/HBO, Frank Spotnitz’s Hunted for BBC One/HBO, and Spotless for Canal Plus/Netflix."
ABOUT NARRATIVIA
"Narrativia is an independent production company, launched in 2012 by Sir Terry Pratchett. The company owns and controls the exclusive multimedia and merchandising rights to all of Sir Terry’s works, including his “Discworld” characters and creations. The company is headed by Managing Director Rob Wilkins and celebrated writer Rhianna Pratchett."
With this in mind, it seems like we might have a very nice, true to source production (not unlike the Hogfather). What are everyone's predictions for casting or your dream cast?
