Well … if you’re being submerged in water with a spider, odds are it will drown whereas centipedes and millipedes stand a better chance of survival … it was a trick question, I’m sure.

Curiosity. Curiosity had always been a failing for Elizabeth in her life. While most fair young ladies had been well versed in the dangers of avoiding pursuing the instinctive wiles that were sourced from their curiosity, Elle had never been able to successfully learn that lesson. So when the intruders of her home brought another in to “deal” with her haunting antics, the spirit could scarcely ignore the amusement that could be sourced from tormenting the poor boy. Most people who passed through her halls were fakes, and a little scare was enough to send them rushing home to their mothers.

So with a wry little smirk, the spirit glided past the boy, brushing a pearly hand against a vase to send it plummeting down upon the marble with a satisfying crash. He’d be out within the hour, Elle was quite sure of it.
