@noblebite said : "let me handle it , just go !" (from father dominick)
A deep and disapproving frown creased the clairvoyant's forehead at having heard the Father's words. Did he really think her to be the type that would up and leave those who so clearly needed her help? If so, then he was sorely mistaken.
"Father Dominick, you know that's not wise. You need me here and it's my duty to assist you." Even if it was in her best interest, she quickly grew tired of people trying to protect her all the time and telling her what to do, as if she were some deeply fragile person. Without a second thought and before he could respond, Lorraine pushed her way past him and took a small vial of holy water that'd been sitting on the table. They had no time to argue or bicker. She needed to grab what she could and head up to the bedroom, in which lay a man tied down to the bed; his body having become home to a vile and demonic entity. The exorcism hadn't even started and already the creature within had been taunting with nonsense words and trying to contort the man's body.
"Please, just let me do my job." She added with a more subtle tone, her gaze turning to look up at the male, features having mellowed out to offer him a more softened look of sincerity, perhaps as a means of reassurance. And with that, she wandered up the stairs and into the room where the exorcism was about to take place.
