So many things got done today I couldn't possibly list them all, so I won't. What I will do is list a few of my favorites. My new trellis, that I got last year, is finally installed in the kitchen garden. I'm going to grow peas on it. There's no reason a veggie garden can't be pretty right? The giant pile of rotting wooden junk the previous owner left in the backyard is finally cleaned up and the chickens are enjoying the space. As usual they've wasted no time reclaiming it. Last but definitely not least John spent some time with the chainsaw cleaning up the fallen limbs in my Dad's front yard and turning them into a woodpile/noise blocking wall in the front yard. Because I live on a very busy rural highway the noise level is often unreasonable. It just figured that when we finally have the time to work on doing something to block it we are in the middle of a national shutdown. Right now there's so little traffic it's surreal and a little creepy. I'm not complaining about the quiet but I'm really sad about the reasons for it. #poverty_hill #homestead #yardwork #alwayssomethingtodo #noboredomehere #itscomingalong #abusylifeisagoodlife #simpleliving #countryliving #slowliving #slowlivingforlife #ruralpa #myhappyplace (at Pennsylvania) https://www.instagram.com/p/B-25YNGgSr3/?igshid=10h1jdgntta3u
