Never has Andre ever looked at a person and automatically regarded them as anything less then wonderful, amazing. Even during the time he was involved in gang activity, he was always one to see the good in people. Not to say that he’s an optimist, but he always knew that people were never completely evil or terrible. Amir was no exception to this thought. When he thinks of Amir, he thinks of a wonderful and brave man. He’s never heard his life story or reached anything beyond the surface, but Andre knows that there’s greatness within Amir. When the man is acting cold or distant, Andre is just reminded that everyone has a past and everyone has had suffering in their lives. With this in mind, he senses a deep despondency within the younger man and overall, finds him to be a very respectable figure for going through life for so long and being a survivor of it all.
