Ok so the name is supposed to be “The Will of Love” but the reverse translation doesn’t show it? Ahck! I’m so happy I’m done!

The “Will of Love” is a spirit that is sought after by many and is regarded as a positive spirit that is said to match people with their soulmate. Every year a special festival is held where people of a village would take a plate and carry it around with them for the whole day. It is said that the Spirit will take either a candy (most likely chocolate) or a flower and place it on a plate along with an identically matching piece on another’s plate. After the festival is over, or whenever a person notices the item on the plate, the people search for their matching partner. Sometimes a piece won’t match anyone within the village, so many take this as a sign that their soulmate is somewhere else in the world, and those that truly wish to find them usually set off on a journey.

It is forbidden to place your own item on someone else’s plate, or to try to trick someone into thinking they are your soulmate. When this happens, the couple usually fall into despair, miserable together. It is said that this is the curse of the Spirit, angry for messing with the affairs of Love. It is also known that sometimes a candy can sometimes be split in half between two people. When this happens, if they find the other piece, it is said that, while not lovers, they are extremely compatible and usually end up being close friends, even to the point of referring each other as “lost siblings”. Sometimes, people are even bestowed two items. This usually happens when someone with strong enough feelings for someone is recognized by the Spirit. They could either be bestowed a broken candy, to place on the others plate, or even two items and leave it to the person to announce their Love.

Here we go another one for Day 29.

Tifl Alhikma (Child of Wisdom) was a child born to an ancient tribe. When she was born, she had strikingly silver hair. The Elders looked into her future (as with every child) and saw a turbulent future, where she becomes a grand sage with powerful, warrior-like skills. They named her after the future they sought her to have, to become wise and full of knowledge, such is the life of the Elder women. As Tifl grew up, she had a rocky life. She excelled in fighting and self defense, however the Elders did not want that kind of life for her. At some point, to prove her power, she provoked a powerful enemy, which made quick work defeating her. As a way to get even, the demon destroyed her entire tribe, leaving few survivors. The survivors say they saw her hair become duller and less bouncy. They knew then that Tifl had started her road to becoming a grand sage, and this was her first prize of knowledge. 

Tifl prefers solitude and working from the shadows. The memory of her tribe weighs heavy on her mind day and night, often having nightmares and a sense of longing. She has gained much knowledge since that day. Many believe her grand power is partially due to her mind, and some seek to obtain that level of power. However many notice that with every visit, she seems duller and less full of life. Recently, there have been rumors flying about that Tifl is searching for the demon that destroyed her tribe. With the recent awakening of the Demon Lord, sightings of her have been rampant. Tifl has been seen destroying demons left and right, all the while asking for the one and most important demon of all (to her). The Demon Lord, however, has taken notice of her meddling and powerful skills. Although she is currently a powerful enemy, maybe one day she can turn into his most powerful asset.
