09/02/19 — oof long time no see. have been dealing with a rough patch at the moment so I haven’t been that active lately. i’ll make a separate post to discuss about that later on.

also did some flashcards on synaptic transmission which is honestly??? super cool??? like how is our body so amazing at what it does??

Hoh boy. I naturally favour biology over chemistry, tbqh. I got an A* at GCSE bio but oh my god is A-Level kicking my arse. Like, it’s so detailed?? The content?? The amount of shit to learn?? The main issue I have with chemistry is the maths. I’ve always hated maths. I’m not bad at it, per se, but I’m not the best either.
I mean, overall the subjects are okay. It’s just the learning of the theories and concepts inside out so you can answer any question thrown at you. I’d say biology is more about rote learning than anything else, but you still need to have the ideas and the knowledge of concepts and stuff.
