What Really Scares Me

Not even two months in.  Rosin has figured out how to survive, but not even two months in and she’s so afraid .  It isn’t the necromancy.  She had accepted that easily enough, all things considered, easily enough for Rick to laugh at her for it.  She thinks he’d tried to scare her with it the first time, but it really hadn’t been too big of a surprise.  She had come back to life, after all, why would it be a big deal for someone else to do it and come back wrong?  She came back wrong too.

It's the hands that always stick out in Lazarus's memory, when he thinks back to nights like these.  Ciprian's hands are strong, steady, skilled at what the work they're put to.  There's a force behind them too, that stands in stark contrast to Lazarus's own.
