An evening well spent

I have been playing with the idea of research as worship and study as ritual.

I’ve taken to staining my fingers with ink before a study session as a way to mark an entrance into sacred space. A sacrament taken before trying to find divinity in my annotations in the margins

the best thing about used books is the notes and highlights and worn down pages

each one of them is a little conversation sent into the future.
