“Oh, Dantès!” Originally, he’d never speak with the Count of Monte Cristo so casually - he usually had his guard up, not out of disrespect, but Avengers were sometimes a bit hard to work with. The Count, overall, was never hard to speak to though - and he’s saved his ass more times than he can remember - so casual conversation like this just came naturally.
That aside, with a (somewhat rare) grin, he gives the Avenger a thumbs up.
“So, first off - sorry you only get four. The only other one I could think of to add would’ve been Giratina, but I went against that because I feel this is good for you.”
“Murkrow is mostly because it reminds me of your hat, which may be a stupid reason but - I think it’d be neat to see one flying around you! Usually, they show up when something bad‘s happening - you’ve shown up to help us out when we needed it most, so that’s another reason why.”
“Mega Gengar - well, just Gengar in general really, reminds me of that creepy grin you get when you get serious.”
“Darkrai and Marshadow are probably the most obvious; you tend to slip into the shadows a lot like they do, and both of them are extremely fast like you. Darkrai’s also misunderstood in that one movie; he means well, but he just gets people hurt without meaning to just because of what he is.”
