Will there be any Glorfindel art coming soin? He is my favorite and I love the art style you make. It wouls mean alot if you made Glorfindel, the background could be in a library or a peaceful place in the woods.
After all this time, I finally got to your message 😓
I like Glorfindel as well ☀️
It took me a very long time to find his image. I sketched thousands of sketches, but in the end, I finally saw him in a more relaxed and thoughtful pose, somewhere on a terrace in Gondolin 🤔
Aráta Tyelperëkko (during YoT/Darkening) / Antar the Iron-Spine (during FA)
Species: Elf, Noldo
Pronouns: they/them
Orientation: forgot to give them one tbh
When can be found?: Years of the Trees, The Darkening, First Age
Where can be found?: Valinor, Gondolin
Age: Intended to be the same general age group as the third generation Finweans (late 200s - 300s)
Based on: The Silmarilion
Appearance:
Notably tall and broad, with sharp features. Long, stark white hair, usually in martial Noldorin braids, though they will wear more formal traditional Noldorin styles when appropriate. Severe-looking and colorless - pale skin and pale blue eyes. Usually dressed in black and silver. A scar over their right eye, given to them during the First Kinslaying. Wears brighter colors and patterns pre-Darkening, with their hair in more elaborate braids. From about Year 1 to Year 50 of the First Age, has short, choppy, dyed black hair - a poorly done Noldorin mourning cut. Usually in martial Noldorin braids, though these are clearly not intended to hold hair of their length, and it is apparent that they are unused to caring for or styling shortened hair.
Personality:
Traditional doomed paladin vibes. Usually soft-spoken and polite. Following their departure from the host of Maedhros, they gain a reputation as a recluse. Intensely loyal to whichever lord they serve at the given point in time; has a tendency to place faith in others rather than in themself. Intensely self-loathing, though they have a soft spot for those they see as struggling with similar inner turmoil. Has a slight stammer when they speak. Tends to use highly formal language, and will always address others by their proper titles (ex. "Lord/Lady [so and so]"; "My King/Lord/Lady"; "Esteemed [so and so]"). Never says anything they do not genuinely mean; however, they will lie intensely by omission to protect themself or others.
History:
During YoT, they were a member of the Weaver's Guild in Valinor. Though were are too young to have been alive during Miriel's lifetime, many members of the Weaver's Guild were followers of Miriel and have by extension chosen to follow Feanor; thus, Tyelperëkko was a loyal follower of Feanor. Tyelperëkko chose to flee Valinor after the Darkening as a member of the Feanorian host. While they participated in the First Kinslaying, they did not kill anyone during it.They largely believe that this was simply luck, and that the fact of their participation has marred them permanently. Because of this, they continued to follow Feanor. Participated in the burning of the ships at Losgar. Disgusted with their own actions, their allegiance changed to Lord Maedhros, as they admired his refusal to participate. Defected from the Feanorian host following Maedhros' capture and imprisonment in Angband; remained alone until the Battle of the Lammoth, in which their participation saved the life of Idril. For their actions during this battle, they were accepted into the retinue of Lord Tugon as Idril's personal guard, whereupon they changed their name to Antar. Hid their former allegiance to the Feanorians from Turgon and his court until their past was forcibly outed before his court shortly before the departure of Turgon's host to Gondolin. Swore an oath of loyalty to Turgon and his kin to defend them at all cost. Was allowed to retain their position due to the strength of their bond with Idril, and became one of the Gondolindrim. Bore direct witness to the murder of Aredhel by Eol, and took up the post of personal guard to Maeglin in absence of his parents, swearing a separate oath to protect Maeglin at all costs. Upon formation of the House of the Mole, joined as Maeglin's secretary. During the Fall of Gondolin, fought to protect Maeglin, as they believed him to be under the mental influence of the Enemy. This decision resulted in their being thrown to their death before their lord.
Relationships:
Sees Idril and Maeglin as their kids despite the professional distance; holds deep affection for both of them. Greatly respects Idril's wisdom. Worries for Maeglin given the traumatic nature of the loss of his parents. Has a companionable working relationship with Meleth, having recommended her for the position of Idril's handmaiden. Considers Niquessë (another OC) to be their closest friend. Appreciates their shared enjoyment for companionable silence. Has spoken in support of Niquessë and her younger sister, Anoraen (another OC). Presently has a strained dynamic with Mëohen (another OC), as he was responsible for outing the truth of their past to Turgon's court.
Appearing in: "They've made you a monster, but I've made my choice" and "Take up Arms, Take my Hand, Let us Waltz for the Dead" by maglor_my_beloved, as well as several Gondolin-focused works by JazTheBard.
Additional Info: This character is part of an ongoing Adventures in Middle Earth campaign! The character's relationships and history are still developing. The creator is open to questions regarding how the campaign is progressing, and will happily add more detail as it develops!

Au in which
Miriel comes out of the halls almost the minute finwe dies, and makes a beeline for her son, only to arrive just after the feanorians have taken the ships to ME,
But Miriel promptly goes “fuck that bullshit” and highjacks another boat (all while the nolofinweons are watching in fascinated shock and horror) and books it across the ocean
And makes it just in time to prevent Feanor from becoming flame broiled bbq curtesy of the balrogs AND shows off just how badass she is.
That’s one hell of a way to reunite with her son, let me tell you.
Trying to find which tropes and archetypes Xanxus fits, I am breaking down his story
He is kind of a 'Evil Former Hero'? Its more of a Former HEIR and he is more Grey than Evil, but he is Tsuna's Predecessor, so he DOES fits the Trope
I talked about how similar he is to Loki and Tai Lung before both in this blog and others sideblogs (here and here), begin a Rebelious Foster Son and a Rival to the ACTUAL Heir (Po begin the True Dragon Warrior, Tsuna the New Vongola Heir and Thor...this one was always the blood firstborn heir)
But I think his situation is far more POLITICAL than both Loki and Tai Lung, he wasnt just the fourth heir, he is the Varia Boss, has a position won by his own merit, not blood.
Timoteo decided to treat him as if he was a mere one of the heirs, not the HEAD of a independant division with his own loyal people, a really dumb choice. Tai Lung or Loki would not be able to start a coup, Loki's army was not Asgardian.
So here are the parallels with the Uchiha and the Noldor I also talked about before, with Madara (and Sasuke and even Itachi) and Feanor as the parallels to Xanxus
Noldor did rebel and were fairly sucesful at the beginning, they did leave and got independance.
Xanxus did rebel, but got stopped.
The Uchiha didn't even got the change to fail a rebellion
I have Zero Idea where I am going, but if anyone have a opinion about this, please share
Also, on the political side, Timoteo's plan is similar to Empress Violet (from Caught by the Villain) with Leto and Norlin with Jenna (from The Princess Plot - the Scandia Series by Kirsten Boie):
The Current Heir is your enemy, so you get a spare heir out of nowhere that you can manipulate and usurp you enemy heir
Norlin and Violet are more like Iemitsu because the kids are his Hidden Secret Daughter and her Missing Long Lost Son, respectively.
While Tsuna is his spare kid Iemitsu had so the bloodline won't die out
This plot is kinda similar to what Suren from Stolen Heir seens planning in doing with Oak? Marry him and challenge Jude and Cardan? In theory at least.
Added here because thats is something I can see Xanxus doing, find some random person of Vongola Bloodline (mostly likely a Sawada) to marry and legimate his claim
While this would fit my other blog @the-flower-named-fire better, since this is more KHR focused and I have a fandom blog, I am posting it here
