2018 will mark 2 years of living on the road and I have to say that it has been one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had.. I’ve learned so much about myself and life that I know I would have never been able to learn sitting in a classroom.  That being said, I don’t regret skipping college. I don’t think anyone ever truly knows what they want to do their whole life when they are 18.  I turn 21 next month and there isn’t a single experience I would change.  (P.S. this cactus was about 15 feet tall)

Before we put on our mini apartment on the truck bed lol This truck is a 1996 Ford F250 Powerstroke 4x4.  Quiet the mouthful, I know! Powerstroke means that the truck has a diesel engine and for those who know a bit more this is a 7.3L.  We both love the truck bed empty with the classic “Farm Truck” look but we’ve officially moved in COMPLETELY to the truck bed camper!  For those who have been around we did trade our 1999 4x4 4Runner for this truck!

Sedona was one of the places I will never forget. We ended up camping one night literally in the middle of nowhere in a forest only to have one of the craziest thunderstorms pass over us. We felt the thunder shake the ground from how loud it was and mind you we were on a mountain top. I'm convinced we were struck by lightening, died and transcended to another plane of existing 😂bc after that camping trip I promise I was never the same person. (At least I think so) Sedona is a vortex, you'll feel it when you're there.

College Graduate/Nomad Living: Day 9

Well my week with Allie is over. The last couple of days were pretty easy because I was doing great things, such as going to the Hot Chelle Rae concert in Tulsa and seeing the midnight premiere of The Avengers. My mom came to get me yesterday, so Day 8 was spent sleeping in a hotel room. Day 9 and the next few days will be spent in Longview. Lets rewind to Christmas break. Remember when I had to sleep on a slowly deflating air mattress on the floor of my sister's room? Well I have stepped up to my brother's king size bed. I guess there are some perks to him moving out/getting kicked out of the house. I am going to go watch every episode of New Girl now.

College Graduate/Nomad Living: Day 5

Is it really only Day 5? I must have miscounted. I broke my glasses and I haven't done anything I was supposed to do. Tonight is a rough one.

College Graduate/Nomad Living: Day 4

What do you do when you wake up and your host is still sleeping? Do you wait for them to wake up, do you busy yourself, or do you leave? Today, I left, because after waking up way too early thanks to the firmness of this tiny couch, I was worried that Allie's new roommate would want to be in the living room, sans me sleeping. One good thing about having no home base is that once you step outside, you have endless opportunities.

After a rough night of sleeping in a strange empty apartment alone during a scary thunderstorm and waking up at 4 am to see the Ghana people off, I spent the majority of my day in my snuggie on Allie's couch.

College Graduate/Nomad Living: Day 2

Arrived on OC's campus with my bags and nowhere to go. Knocked on apartment doors until I found one that was open. Suzanna was moving out, so I moved my stuff in. Hannah Faye will be gone all weekend. It looks like Josh and I have found a place to stay for now. I am going to utilize my time by freshening up. I won't let bathrooms go to waste.
