"Look, I have to tell you: I'd make a really horrible pet. I don't listen and I run away at every possible opportunity." Still, she was sitting on his lap, and what's more, she didn't really mind it.

“So why did ya take a seat on my lap then?” He sneered, tilting his    head while he was lazily leaned back on the sofa. 

“I get the feelin’ you’d quite enjoy being owned.”

“I think I have plenty to offer,” she said. Despite his closeness, she didn’t back into the wall -she looked him in the eye. The electric thrill of making such a request of a near stranger was something she kept to herself. “More than just a handful of gold.” She smiled, biting her bottom lip. What are you doing. If Karu were here he’d gore you. You moron. “Why don’t you find out for yourself?”

He only replied to that with another shark like smirk before his hand came up to grasp her jaw between two fingers before Greed’s lips were placed on hers, followed by sharp teeth poking the soft flesh.

Eywen softly knocked on the wall, letting Pitch know that she was there in the least bothersome way possible. "Pitch?" she said, stepping closer. "You've been keeping to yourself a lot lately..."

The Nightmare King looked away from the window, where he had been watching the torrential rain run down the windowpane in thought. He looked over to Eywen and sighed.

"I’m sorry my dear. It is the holiday season for Earth, the busiest time of the year for me." he told her. Pitch looked back out of the window when thunder rolled in the distance, before giving the Nomad a quizzical look.

"Is there something wrong?"
