So how would the tribes and their leaders react to the grey trolls?

Pacifically Delta Dawn,Queen Essence and King Quincy and Queen Barb.

I read from one of your posts that the grey country trolls were grey because they liked other music genres and were considered criminals resulting them getting kicked out of their home and if I'm not mistaken a few were kids?

How would they react to seeing Delta Dawn since she is mostly likely the one who made the decision.

The (some) funk trolls were researchers that were left behind so how will they feel when they meet Queen Essence and King Quincy,and how will those two react knowing how they became grey.

And how will Queen Barb react to the reasons the rock trolls left and became grey especially since one of them was deaf.

Pop: The Pop trolls try to welcome back the grey trolls with open arms. (They are so happy by the discovery of them Because friendship) Who for some reason aren’t to excited to come back? I wonder why.. (The grey trolls are way to scared of what the pop tribe is like they basically took a break from being “happy”like the others and now see how messed up everything is) The Pop tribe is determined to bring there colors back no matter what (I’m talking loud obnoxious parties, activity after activity, loooooonnnngg hugs that last for days, being braided to another troll who is supposed to be your fun buddy) but after a long time (and tons of reflection) they realize how messed up it all seemed. So they took it slow and let them just get accustomed to everything, a party or two a week and not a lot of loud noises (plus no more tying people together) gradually overtime the grey pop trolls are able to be in the village and not feel overwhelmed (a looooot of insecurity about being grey though)

Techno: Trollex welcomes all the Techno trolls who were lost, left or born in the grey tribe. (He was initially shocked but quickly relieved to find the missing trolls who have been gone for years!! Plus the new editions) He tries to help them as much as he can, ie fixing torn flippers, setting up a new foster system for future trollings, making sure to know who is here or missing every week, overall just trying to help with what he can to make them more comfortable (He didn’t do much wrong with the grey Techno trolls as some of the other tribes besides a few getting separated from the group by currents and no one noticing) but he tries to right whatever wrong there is…..and throw a few raves in their honor he is still a troll he will party. The grey Techno trolls greatly appreciate it and get along well with the other Techno trolls.

Funk: The absolute guilt the royal family has is insane!!! Not only did they leave behind a group of researchers, but they are the ones who asked for them TO BE THERE!!(they did go back and look for them but found nothing) they try to make amends and do whatever to help the trolls, the fact the trolls were grey because of them almost put them in an early grave. They start figuring out ways so that this situation would never happen again (I feel like trackers would be their best option) the grey Funk researchers are a little angry at the royal fam (I mean they left them so it’s a valid response) but they do forgive them on account of why they left (I’m going to say bird attack that forced them to get out of there quickly) and the fact they went back for them🥹 (the fam still does whatever to help like, making therapy a way bigger thing on the ship for others ) they also help the other grey funk trolls get accustomed to the ship and being around more trolls.

Classical: Trollzart would immediately put into action more ways for Symphony Ville to be more accessible for trolls who can’t fly, while also putting in ways for the classical trolls to get around more (I imagine they use walking cane or some form of wheelchairs to get around because like they have the bodies of literal BABIES?!?! Can they even walk on their own?!?) As for the other grey trolls they try to get accustomed to them, maybe put on performances where they show their sorrow and anguish, but also try their best to help them however they can.

Country: Oh boy… Delta is absolutely mortified by her actions. Not only did she kick out a couple of trolls from the flats (sooo much guilt) but they had kids while they were out there, kids who had to survive in the forest for years !!!( I hc that she absolutely loves kids!!) she tried her best to make what she did right (she’s been feeling guilty about it for years) the banished country trolls themselves hold a lot of resentment towards her. I mean who wouldn’t for what she did to them, but after months of holding the grudge and resentment and many many constant apologies and acts of kindness they eventually forgive Delta (there is still awkward tension between the three but they try to put it aside) Delta does absolutely whatever to fawn and show the kids love and kindness since she feels guilty about her being the reason they were grey to begin with. She also helps the other grey country trolls who either went too far away from the flats or got dragged away by predators and got lost cause of it. She tries her best to make amends for all the country trolls and their young. Now she tries to keep track of her people more and has grown a tolerance to all music. The grey trolls greatly appreciate all she does for them and their kids now. (I know I made Delta look like a bad person but this was in the past and to be fair she did lock up Poppy and Branch when she first met them sooooo… I do really love Delta though)

Rock: Barb was angered by the fact some of her people were in the forest surviving for years and grey!??!!! (She seems to be really insecure about being a leader this issue does not help her) she places a lot of guilt on herself because of this and does WHATEVER it takes to make things right!! So she implements a lot of mental health things (more therapy, rage rooms concerts about mental health) anything to bring awareness and to help. For the one deaf rock troll they go immediately to the funk trolls and soon enough hearing aids were made for the little rocker (by the way the deaf troll is like 8, i thought it would make it more angsty that a child left because they felt out of place.. and I was right!!! it makes it sooo much worse) Barb and the rock trolls basically bend over backwards to help their fellow rockers. The grey rockers greatly appreciate what has been done for them and how they got used to their survivalist antics.

I can only imagine your Branch giving the most disturbing gifts to show he cares. Ex:

Floyd: Oh man, I always worried Velvet and Veneer are gonna come back at some point

Branch: *Man, I wanna make him feel better hmm*

Cue the next day:

Branch: Here Floyd, this should make you feel safer (Man is covered in BLOOD and holding an even bloodier box) 😊

Floyd (about to pass out): Oh thanks B… what is it??

Branch: Velvet and Veneers vocal cords 😁 (He genuinely believes this will make him feel better)

Floyd: Oh… thank you Branch (He doesn’t want to reject the gift since it is one of the only occasions Branch has shown any of the brother’s affection)

His gifts only get worst from there. The brothers one time mention what happened to the Bergen that ate Grandma??? Branch puts Chef’s skeleton up in display for them to see that there’s nothing to worry about and that she’s been avenged. Meanwhile , BroZone: 🧍🧍🧍🧍

Poppy mentions that Creek betrayed the entire Troll kingdom??? Oh yeah, he tells the hilarious story about the time he was roasted alive and eaten by the village and even offers Poppy a tuff of his hair as proof.

He associates threats being eliminated as comforting and so he believes proof of that are the best gifts, he has good intentions but wtf he’s gotta work on better love languages.

anyways yeah BroZone loses their shit every time this happens but don’t have the heart to tell Branch to stop since it’s one of his main ways to show he cares about them and they’ll take anything at this point.

Honestly no one in the village is good at getting appropriate gifts ESPECIALLY Branch (he’s been living with the feral trolls(?) for years and their love language is violence) so you’re gonna have to forgive them on their very gruesome gifts.

All these situations are basically canon now because the idea is just so funny to me that Branch just pulled out all these corpse parts just to be like “don’t worry you’re safe😁”. Every time he does this his brother are just going through every emotion. It’s sweet that he did the gesture for them but also terrifying when you actually think about it (when he’s left the room, at least two of them puked and Floyd passed out four times) When Floyd is given the vocal cords as a gift the only thing keeping him conscious is the adoration that his baby brother got him a gift, but once Branch left the room, he immediately put the box in the closet and proceeded to puke on the floor. (Originally Branch got the vocal cords after he found out velvet and veneer took Floyd, but I find the idea of him going back for round two just so he can get a trophy for Floyd to tell him he was “safe” even better)

When he showed the skeleton to the brothers they were just too shocked to actually understand what was happening and kind of just went numb for a few minutes, all they could do was force themselves to focus on how happy Branch was so they wouldn’t have a meltdown.(when they later registered what they saw they just cried) When Poppy brought up how angry she is at Creek and how mad she is that he up and left again instead of staying to face his problems!! Branch laughed and said “OH, don’t worry we handled it😁” and he pulled out a tuff of Creeks hair, and hilariously explained the “funny story” of Creeks demise.

Everyone at this point just stops talking about people they don’t like out of fear that Branch Is just gonna come out with their body at any second. They like the gestures of the gift. It’s just the fact that they’re basically just corpse parts in a box that is handed to them with a smile 😊 saying, “I hope you like it” (he eventually stops when explained how messed up it is)

✨The Nomads Summary✨

Everything is the same for Branch backstory wise (brothers abandon him, dead grandma,fear of bergans, turning grey)

The difference is after the escape in the first movie Branch is isolated and shunned from his village, for being grey instead of staying and taking that treatment he just decides to up and leave. (I mean not much was there for him and the fear of being found by the bergans due to the pop trolls stupidity of not being quiet and careful.)

He travels through the woods for a while until. He is found by another predator to the trolls (I don’t have a name for them yet) they are basically distant, distant cousins to the trolls. (They areaggressive due to carnivorous nature.) Branch is found!!!! After a bit of a struggle he’s finally caught by the creature. The only problem is it’s not killing him? Branch is afraid and begging to live. The creatures thoughts are sympathetic and just looking at the panicked, gray and malnourished troll makes the creature feel bad, so they take pity and decides to take the poor trolling in as their own. YAY!

After a few years living with this new species, they find more and more grey trolls. Most are just dulled and saturated versions to the point of being categorized as grey while others are full on grey but none are as dark as Branch in color. The species takes in these grey trolls and in exchange they help hunt for the tribe. (This is also when Branch finds out there are other types of trolls as there are many different grey trolls. )

The whole tribe at this point is becoming like first movie Branch.(uh oh) With his fear of being eaten and VERY preparedness to the point of being crazy~ (traps, survival skills, weapons you name it)

Eventually Branch climbs in ranks and becomes the new leader. Go Branch 😁. With him in charge the tribe sort of becomes branch times TEN…….. what could possibly go wrong?😑

What if there was an AU, where Branch was in charge! I don’t mean in charge of the Pop trolls, what if he was in charge of his own small village like the putt putt trolls butt……. THERE ALL GREY!

Nomads AU! He’s……..DEAD?!

(This is basically what was going through the brothers heads during world tour)

John Dory: He showed up to the wedding looking for Bitty B (Branch) and after crashing said wedding the ✨queen✨ of pop came up to him for questioning. John soon explained that he was looking for his brother Bitty B/Branch, which wildly confused Poppy? No one named Branch ever lived in the village from what she remembered, and Peppy was very clearly trying to avoid the topic (this man straight up covered up branch existing 😃, it’s not to far fetched he would keep him a secret he’s the king of secrets ) In that moment sooooo much dred filled John, he asked immediately abt grandma Rosiepuff. Which king Peppy (surprisingly) told him what happened to her. When I tell you the amount of fear and guilt that man felt. Not only was his grandma dead, his brother was probably dead too. WELL he wasn’t going to take that he just knew his brother was out there…….. right?

After finding Bruce and Clay John knew he was running out of time to get Floyd, and with no leads. He had to accept it his baby brother was.…dead. It got reeeeeeeaaally bad for him. The guilt that HE INADVERTENTLY CAUSED HIS BROTHERS DEATH!! Just by leaving was crushing this man, he was on the verge of a complete breakdown. The others knew deep down Baby branch was gone they just haven’t processed that yet, still in a state of denial that maybe just maybe he was out there.. Maybe having a solo career that none of the brothers knew about (what a nice thought right) but he knew he had to break the news. After all they need to know their baby brother is…. Dead.

Bruce: He wasn’t as distressed when Bitty B wasn’t there when they showed up, but he was concerned they had no idea where he was which would have been fine IF it was any other brother except it was the baby of the family that they left behind in A TROLL EATING VILLAGE!! (No one talks about that enough, he could’ve died) He was concerned that’s for sure.

It was unreal to Bruce, John after a while finally broke the news that branch was … dead. To say Bruce was guilty was an understatement. He may have left his brother and basically had a family with the intention of never coming back but still all he could think about was if that was his kids. That there uncle was gone and they would never meet him. HE would never meet him. The poor guy was hugging photos too his chest sobbing (They knew that branch was probably dead but they all kept there hope that maybe just maybe bitty b was alive) but now he had to except it his baby brother was…Dead.

Clay: Oh boy. He was surprised to see his brothers, HELL he was surprised to see other trolls, but he was grateful until he noticed two were missing? After being caught up on Floyd he was prepared to go but Clay was confused. Where was Baby Branch? He asked and none of them had an answer (they were all hoping he was with clay or near but- well u know) Clay was hit with a toooonnn of fear. (living in a golf course fearing the bergens definitely wasn’t helping knowing his baby brother was still in the tree when he left) but he vowed he would find him.

(Yea no.. that vow went unaccomplished when they were out of time, they couldn’t look for branch since Floyd was… well.. u know dying!)

When John broke the news Clay was sobbing. Poor guy was trying to get his serious act together and just couldn’t. He had to be the serious guy and blow right past this mishap- but Clay couldn’t he felt guilty, responsible, he was in the tree with them (my headcannon)and he never visited. Grandma was dead and Branch was eaten by a Bergen! (as far as they know) He was a mess.. maybe it was cause he was younger then his brothers, or the fact he has been bottling up his emotions for uh…years by being serious. (yea maybe.. don’t do that) he always hoped his family got out in the escape but… deep down he sorta knew that wasn’t true, now he had to deal with the serious reality his baby brother… is Dead.

(It was a very messy drive they were absolutely devastated)

Floyd: (oh this is going to be a rough one) he was saved. He was saved by his brothers they were cheering and ugly sobbing? (it wasn’t pretty) but all that raced through his head was “where’s Branch?” When he asked that all his brothers immediately stopped cheering, their ugly crying turned from happy to sad (somehow their crying turned uglier?HOW?!) then the brothers dropped the news… and when I tell you Floyd’s world stopped in that moment. Because it did for him his brother his little brother was…gone. Floyd hadn’t cried much in a while, he tried to keep his emotions to himself more by adapting the rock lifestyle so no one would call him sensitive again. But it was like a dam broke, he was full on sobbing (at least it wasn’t ugly crying like his brothers 😔) his brother was dead HIS BROTHER WAS DEAD!!! Yea he was sobbing HARD- the poor guy was screaming too, begging his brothers this could be some cruel joke on him and …no one denied his accusations. He thought at times his brother could be dead and gone but, Floyd always pushed those thoughts away-

But now there was no denying it, his.. little brother was… Dead.

(Poppy and viva were here to, they just weren’t important for this post, it’s kinda a summary but it’s really just there reactions no branch being there upon the meeting of the brothers and the dred that filled till they announced “He wAs DeAd!” It’s sooooo long 😭)
