“You needn’t explain to me where is it that you come from if you do not wish to, kid. I said this before and I’ll repeat it again if you have no place to go, I do not have much but I have enough to share with you.”

The wind was gentle and cool on Selene’s equally frozen skin. In front of her was the vast and endless ice-land that the vampires of Vahr Dor called home. For the Death Dealer, it was a spot where she could begin anew. She would start by taking the remaining pieces of her life she once lost and keeping them with her. Her daughter was only feet from her now. Small and fragile looking despite the wisdom and power lurking behind her striking eyes. “Eve,” Selene’s voice carried over clearly in the light breeze. “It’s good to see you again.” It truly was. She kept her promise and her daughter was safe and alive.

“You fight well. Your parents must have taught you extensively.”
Was it strange to see a young girl, barely in her twenties, fight like a warrior? No. The Lady Sif had been younger when she was considered the best female warrior in Asgard; a title that she proudly held to this day. However, there was something different about the girl. She didn’t seem human at all. If he was being honest, however, it wouldn’t have mattered.
HE wasn’t exactly human either.

“So long as no one is watching you flaunt you being out in the sun, I wouldn’t mind training outside. It is muddy out though.”
“Which is why we will avoid the mud.” Semira spoke, taking off her hat. Her hair still had a pink tinge to it after a few weeks, but it was finally fading. She noticed what Eve said and realized the girl still worried about Semira showing off or grasping for power again. No matter, she would rather train in private for now since she didn’t exactly want people seeing her hair. Wasn’t too bad now, only in certain lightings could you even see the pink, but still. “Ready?” Semira unsheathed her practice sword, and then tossed another one to Eve.
@nomcther “Eve..” the young hybrid name flows softly from Lena’s lips as she approaches her with light footsteps. Pale fingers grasp the white gown she wore to keep it a little above her feet as she draws closer to where the young female stood, “You are always welcome here. I hope you know of this..” However she was curious to know exactly why the female came to such great lengths to be here. Was it for her mother? Unfortunately Selene was not here, but if Eve wanted to reside here for awhile, she would not be turned away in the slightest.
“Is there something you need?”
❛ eve! can you come to the kitchen, please? ❜ many changes have been made over the past twelve years to keep their lives, their true lives, a secret and to give their daughter a normal upbringing. lucky for the immortal family, such a feat has been reachable for them, said child’s birthday the next day; it’s why selene has called for eve to join her.

“Little girl,” came the witcher’s voice. He knew something was not entirely right, he knew this girl was not a human, yet he could not know what exactly. Still, he decided to play along, see where that would take him. “Why are you alone here? Where are your parents?”

Michael stood in his hybrid form, watching Eve for a moment. His transformation had been seamless, a display to show her how easy it could be to transform. He stepped forward, unable to talk in this form, but nodded his head at his daughter. Unlike lycans, he still had his mind and wasn’t acting on basic primal urges like they were. He took a deep breath, and shifted back, and he rolled his shoulders.
“You need to avoid transforming out of sheer anger. That’s when you’re at the most vulnerable to losing control of yourself.” He told her, voice steady and calm. “Once you’re in your hybrid form, in order to block out all the various scents, focus on one. It’s overwhelming, I know. There’s a lot of different smells around us, and it can be hard to pick out just one. If you find one you know, latch onto it.” He didn’t know if he was doing a good job explaining it, but he was trying.
