It's been 30 years since the first Balto movie came out on December-22-1995 and let me tell ya: it's a GREAT movie ever since I was little. It's about a deadly diphtheria epidemic that strikes the remote town of Nome, Alaska, which is really terrible news. With the life-saving medicine located hundreds of miles away, the residents decide to send out a sled-dog team. Balto (Kevin Bacon), a half-wolf dog ignored by all except his adopted father goose, Boris (Bob Hoskins), and two polar bears, Muk and Luk, is chosen to run, but he's been disqualified by lead dog Steele (Jim Cummings), who's an Alaskan Malamute. When the other dogs get lost in the snow, Balto risks his life to rescue them and deliver the medicine to the town of Nome.
