@before-our-days-ender asked: “Noooomiki!” ENDER said sprinting into the shop with a smile on his face and a bit out of breath. “Guess what I can do.” Pausing he shifted into a mirror image of her with a smile on his (?) face. “Learned that in hell. Hurts but I can shift into anything I want.” He said before shifting back, wincing this time as he was once again the elegant and handsome demigod. “Anyway,” holding out a small pouch of 700 coins he smiled at her and said, “I thought I would donate this to you in exchange that you could help me in the future? I want to be able to continue to charm and destroy my enemies in a way I think you and I do best.” He smiled, a glint of mischievousness in his eyes.
seeing herself reflected without a mirror was kind of odd, but it was also exciting. the fact that ender could turn himself into other people had a lot of potential. “how good are you at lying? it’s one thing to look like me, it’s another thing to act like me!” looking the part was only half of the hard work. “maybe i should go to the underworld...”
the witch chuckled softly, knowing that wasn’t something that she could just do. she took the large pouch and like her grandmother, magically moved it. yet nomiki’s style had a bit more flare as she snapped her finger and a purple smoke engulfed the pouch before it was safely on top of her shelf. “now i’ll be able to do more chaotic things around here!”
she pressed to fingers up against her lips as they puckered while he spoke. “hmm, so you want more help with charmed based things?” maybe there was something that the young witch could do for him after all. “write me a play and i’ll see what i can start cooking for the camp now!”
now that she was inside of mount olympus, her grams would have ruined her if she left without warning. nomiki agreed to be careful and make sure that she wasn’t going alone. after a series of incantations in her little shop, she finally heard back from her friends and there was a meeting point for all of them. she grabbed a couple of different potions and the witch sought out at the stroke of midnight with mischief in her soul.
her friends on the outside were the ones that had done most of the work for her. they tracked down those that hunted her own parents and were ready for revenge. this group had taken something from each as them as well. the first stop along the way was a young man that reminded her of the personification of happiness. if that happiness was wrapped in a killer backhand kick.
samael appeared from the shadows of the forest once nomiki stepped foot into the first meeting place. “i’m surprised you aren’t leaving a trail of magic behind you.” he jumped down from one of the trees and landed with a soft touch to the ground, not even loud enough to wake up one of the nearby bats. “it’s so good to see you again!”
as they were getting acquainted again, edith popped out from the shadows herself and rolled her eyes. “are you two just going to stand around licking face the entire time?” a dark grin almost as bright as nomiki’s spread across her face. “there’s someone we have to hunt down. i don’t know how long they’re going to stay in that area.” it was going to be three on three and this time they were ready for them.
soon enough, the three set out and stumbled upon a cottage that was near a swamp. that was exactly where they were meant to be. nomiki disappeared into the night and made it back out by the water. she was tossing out a word concoction on the red flare water lilies that flourished under the moon light. samael’s body turned into a large serpent the same color of his hair and edith’s eyes began to lose their color, turning a misty white as she held onto her staff.
by now the targets knew something was up and went their separate ways to investigate. samael innocently circled around the smallest target until he was in a good enough position to wrap his large body around them and begin choking them. his poisonous teeth came biting down in several areas and soon enough, the hunter became limp in his grasp.
the second wandered closer to edith, but she wasn’t going to let him lay eyes on her. “efencume ætgædre, eala gastas cræft ige: ecg byrne; byrne mid þære swærnesse þusenda geara; ofercume þone boran.” soon enough everything that he had was hexed and turning against him. his own teeth and armor were becoming too heavy to handle and they took their own master out.
by the water nomiki had already enchanted the plants and they had grown in size. as the leader was escaping through the back of the cottage, she didn’t get too far on the boat before nomiki appeared in the sky. “feel the wrath of the children you stripped from their parents.” her eyes flickered their purplish pink flare as she outstretched her hands. “eat her my pretties.” the same flowers that nomiki had planted their months ago were taking care of the leader of the other trio.
once they were all taken care of, the three of them reunited again at the front of the cottage. nomiki brought samael and edith in for a hug. “thank you. i know this was for all of us, but i couldn’t have done it with either one of you. i owe both of you my life and i always will. why don’t we go and wreck a little havoc somewhere else?” the hex witch rose her eyebrows and looked at the two of them.
a dark smirk formed on the other witch’s face. “you don’t have to tell me twice.” edith whispered something else in a foreign language before they were transported right behind a tavern. it was going to be a long night for the three of them, but one with victory and spoils at least...
@bxsh-wxck asked: Bastion enters NOMIKI shop, trying to get past the oddities that stare back at him like warning signs. "Hello, Nomiki?" he calls out, finally seeing her somewhere in the back between potions and floating daggers. "Hey, I hope I'm not interrupting but I heard a rumor around there's a sorcerer that on your hit list or something?" normally he wouldn't have come to ask this but there was another rumor he might want to ask about that involved a favorite blacksmith of his.
as someone else entered her shop, she looked up to see who it was and smirked slightly. ash’s boy. “viper, go.” the live plant that was in a plant near bastion reached out to bite him. it didn’t reach quite as far though. she was just doing it to see if she could scare him or make him uncomfortable at first.
“you’re always welcomed here, don’t you fret about that.“ the young witch smirked slightly as she placed the daggers down on the counter. “the rumor is one hundred percent true. there’s high voltages of magic and people disappearing somewhere in china.“ thankfully, she was a bit closer to figuring it all out now.
nomiki’s head tilted slightly towards the side when she stopped right in front of bastion. “what’s your sudden interest in sorcerers? you looking to bring me a magical head on a silver platter?”
@bxsh-wxck asked: Nomiki’s shop felt like a parlor shop of oddities, sprinkled with chaos—though Bastion enters regardless. “Hello, Nomiki correct?” he approached her table, offering a clean smile before placing a glass vial with a sediment in it, along with a coin pouch of 100G. “I was wondering if you could help me identify this? I’m having trouble understand what’s a magical components or not. I acquired this from the last quest, I’ll gladly pay you for the help.” donates 100g.
"that’d be me! you boys talking about me or something? let me find out you’re all saying bad things behind my back!” the witch didn’t really care though. any publicity is good publicity in her eyes. she quickly teleported over to bastion when he seemed to bring something for her to inspect.
a wicked smirk formed on her face as she popped opened the bottle and let one of her plants sniff the substance. “this is ash from a vampire, isn’t it?” she brought it up to her nose before closing it back up again. “you want to know if you’re going to get anything out of it?” nomiki tilted her head slightly and handing the vial back to him.
she tapped her chin a bit before her eyes widened. “you should bury it! they’re meant to be buried anyway. legends say that depending on the breed of vampire, a flower grows from its ashes. then that can be used to create a potion that blesses a weapon. you’ll have a dagger as strong as a fang if you handle the process correctly!”
Yoshi why are you with a lowblood? You can do so much better…
"You come barging into my kitchen in my restaurant to tell me that?, while I'm trying to teach this fucking Muppet how to cook if- DID I SAY STOP MIXXING?!, DO YOU WANT TO BE A CHEF YES OR NO?!."
Nomiki: "I'm right here you honk- yes I want to learn Sir."
"Good, now back to you Grey if that's what you think then good for you, I'll give you a call when I give a shit about what you think Ioulaa is perfect now get the fuck out of my restaurant, Roxann! Table six-."
With that Yoshio walked away, Eichii taking the anon by the arm, showing them the door giving a shrug.
𝐚𝐬𝐡. the forger wouldn’t be caught dead in a dress, that’s just not comfortable for her. instead she wore a beige suit with a brown shirt and brown hiking boots. she can still work in her outfit as long as she takes the blazer off, so it’s not too bad.
𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐤𝐢. the young witch needed an excuse to dress all out. her dress is a short black cocktail dress, turtleneck and with intricate sleeves. if people look closely, the dress is magically enchanted and sparkles in the right light with dancing stars. she wore her hair up and placed many flowers in it because no one can take her spotlight.
@godaneward asked: DANE approaches NOMICKI’S cabin, bright and early. no idea when the other witch woke up, but he figured it’d be his best chance at an overlap in their uptime.
if she opens at his knock, DANE came empty-handed; nothing but a weak grin, aimed initially downwards.
“yoooo– it’s alright if you don’t wanna talk, but. I wanted to apologize for how I acted. when you joined up with the trainers.” it still stung, watching dex go down while unable to make a single move. the way they just hounded on him. “still guess I’m a bit fucked up on what training is, what it means for us. and gotta trust that you guys aren’t just…hurtin us ‘cause you think it’s fun, seein us bleed and shit.”
people here didn’t sleep, that was something that nomiki was coming to realize with the longer she spent at came. at least she had to get up this early anyway to feed a couple of her plants. it wasn’t like he was intruding on her or anything.
the witch shook her head slowly and rose her hand. “there’s nothing to be sorry about. i’m a chaos witch, i’m meant to jump in every now and then to fuck some shit up.” she would have been more surprised if dane and the other two had maintained their cool during all of it. “they brought me in to make sure they kept you guys on your feet. you’re not going to learn how to adapt if it’s always the same thing coming at you. just gotta remember i can’t ACTUALLY hurt you, i’m just playing the role of the villain and i’m a great actress!”
