It’s been a long year and a half since I became Diabetic. In that time I’ve almost completely changed my diet, and most importantly my sugar intake. When a doctor tells you that if you don’t make changes you might die, will definitely make you reevaluate your life. And I want to be alive for my girls. Yesterday was my 3rd A1C test to be below even the pre-diabetic range. So the doctor said that I no longer need Diabetic Medicine. I’m very proud and excited, this was always my goal. But even after losing 50lbs it still seemed like I might be stuck on this medication forever. It’s a bit emotional to realize that I actually did it, good luck to all of you out there struggling with Diabetes, it sucks and I’m glad to be in a healthier state of mind and body than I was a year ago. Thanks to my amazing Wife for going on this journey with me. So many people acted like the odds were against me when I would talk about reversing it. But I just want to say a huge Thank you to everyone that has been supportive! Much Love. -Peace! #diabetes #diabetestype2 #diabetessucks #nomorediabetes https://www.instagram.com/p/B1b8_erl9mk/?igshid=1uie2x99z6654
