Close to My Heart
I will admit that I do have a bad habit when it comes to drawing late. I don't keep track of time since I'm listening to some great music and working on stuff I enjoy (Scarebane and Onward stuff). A bit of a head's up, there will be stories in the future of the DC ship and maybe something for Onward.
After finishing up a few more paragraphs for the stories and saving my sketches, I went on Tumblr to look at more stuff I like and there was this thing for Evil!Barley. Here's the post so you can check it out. It's really good.
After listening to the playlist, it got me thinking of a potential story of the Evil!Barley AU where Barley gets taken over by a Demon to protect Ian. Having the overactive imagination, my mind started playing out scenes of horrifying and creepy ass monsters that the Lightfoot brothers aren't ready to take on. I'm crying just by thinking of these twisted monsters and describing them in text will just be complete nightmare fuel.
Being a paranoid bitch, I rushed into my room (It's dark as fuck during this), refusing to look behind me. I then held my Barley Pop figure close to me and I started to calm down. The images stopped and I felt better with this big blue bean. He stopped my nightmares.
