I've traded pop for coffee for caffeine. I can't function without at this point. I also can no longer drink pop. It makes me feel like shit and it sucks.

Small Victories.
Today, I went to lunch for my brother’s birthday. I was going to treat myself to a Coke because I have been craving one for the past two weeks, and I have been doing really good on my diet and exercise. I got one, and took one sip and it was WAY too sugary for me to drink. I ended up getting water instead. To me, that is a huge step because I usually can chain drink cans of pop. Also, I weighed myself today and I am down one more pound, weighing in at 255. I am pretty proud of myself today. (:

The start!
In the last few years i have gone from being okay with myself to slowly hating my appearance. As time went on so did my bad habits which has cause me not only health issues but is preventing me from doing the fun things that I wish I could do with my son. In the past I have attempted dieting without much motivation. What makes this time different is knowing that the longer i work hard the more fun my son who is almost three can have. So my plan is to record online the progress I am making. Through the struggle of working crazy hours and not resorting to fast food as a meal I've recently started using herbalife for those moments when I don't have time to cook anything.
I started this challenge to myself at 315lbs this was on March 23, 2014. My first goal is 150lbs, for my height a healthy weight is 115lbs. That would be a total of 165lbs to lose to reach my goal.
This morning weight put me at 307.2lbs! Roughly 8lbs down.
So far my first health goal step: No more Soda (last pop was 3-22-14)
I am excited to start this adventure to a healthier life for my family an I.
Music
To me, music is an art. A series of intricately intertwined pieces that make people feel something. Not only does it make the listener experience emotions, but also has the composer's thoughts and feelings webbed throughout every bit of the piece. A good musician knows what kind of chords can pull out the most complicated and deep-seated emotions in people, because they, themselves, have felt those emotions. People that are indifferent have indifferent music. The same chords over and over pulls absolutely no complicated emotion. Music should tell a story, it should have a beginning, middle, and end (which most pop songs lack). Music has dynamic contrasts other than just loud, and note shaping other than just a straight line of sound. Music takes effort. People work all their lives to learn how to evoke that kind of feeling from people, and now half-witted, auto tuned people are taking the spotlight for a talent that they don't posess, but many others do
