It scares me I’ll see you again.
I want you…
And I’m afraid of the way my feelings will come flowing to you like an empty pool being filled in.
Even if it’s just till the the water begins to evaporate again.

What is Lupus?
**Not my art below**
Lupus is a chronic (long-term) disease that can cause inflammation and pain in any part of your body. It’s an autoimmune disease, which means that your immune system — the body system that usually fights infections — attacks healthy tissue instead.
9 out of 10 people with lupus are women
Women ages 15 to 44
Certain racial or ethnic groups — including people who are African American, Asian American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, or Pacific Islander
Lupus is not contagious—you can’t “catch” lupus or give it to someone else.
No one knows what causes lupus — but lupus and other autoimmune disease do run in families.
I am a Survivor of Lupus. My first fight with this horrible disease when the doctors first diagnosed me at age 11. It was no picnic. It took two years for it to go back in remission. Unfortunately, it came out again and with a fury when I was 15. Due to my lack of white blood cells something happened and I went into a coma for 3 days. Lupus is a silent killer and at that time it almost killed me. My mother never left my bedside at the hospital. All I remember is her face was caked in tears. The reason for me not being on this site as much as I want to is because my Lupus is out of remission again. Today i find out how much of a dosage of autoimmune suppressants my Rheumatologist will be giving me. There's a good chance they will start me on IV infusions since I cant digest anything properly. Vomiting has not been my friend lately, when is it anyone's friend.....anyway, keeping myself positive through this whole process. I'll be on here from time to time posting things. I hope everyone is doing well and is continuing to be safe. With all my love and kindness to the souls on here. Catch everyone on the flipside. HUGS!💜💜💜✨❤✨💜💜💜
