It’s getting on a week and a half since all these lovely flowers came into my house and there’s still a vase full of all the survivors! Everyone was so nice on my last Friday at work, bringing me gifts, saying kind things and wishing me luck in retirement. On the Sunday, the girls and my lovely boss took me out for a lunch date. It was so good to sit down and share a meal together, we finally had some time to chat. Usually phones are ringing, customers are waiting to be served, coffee orders are mounting up but not that day. We could all relax, eat some yummy food and get away from life’s pressures for a few hours.

We go through life never really knowing our place in the world, never really appreciating our worth but for a few days I knew. I felt very loved and a little sadly, I was made realise ......I would be missed.
