The Kurayami AU

The Kurayami au is a nomu Aizawa au that takes place in a Ranking AU scenario. I live to mash together aus.

As with all of my ranking au scenarios, the Commission is the real villain of the story, which leaves AFO in a spot where I can make him the better of the two. This is an au where AFO grows a heart basically due to taking in these two kids rip.

Shouta was experimented on, brainwashed, and trained by the commission to track down the now vigilante/villain rooftop squad. He failed multiple times, so they decided to start using him for spare parts by the time AFO decided to raid the Commission Facility he was in. No name, no memories, no hope, Shouta was only known as Null then. AFO had to pull out some recessive quirks in his genes to actually get his body funtioning again. Hence the nomu part of all this. Gave him the new name of Kurayami and tasked him to watch after Tomura as well as other tasks.

At the time of this au taking place, Shouta and the rooftop squad are 20ish, and Shouta was Null from 16 to to 18, so he's been in AFO's care for 2 yrs.

Dabi narrowed his eyes at nomu Aizawa, seemingly glaring at him but he was analyzing him too “I don’t trust you, you don’t seem like the villain type.”

Tomarume stared back at Dabi, eyes narrowing as well. Was he mimicking him? Mocking him? A third eye blinked open on the side of his face, gazed around the room for a moment before narrowing at Dabi as well. Did he have a sense of humor? "I am the type that I was created to be."

So I was messing around with my hero one's justice 2 and created sort of an au with either nomu aizawa or nomu all might maybe they were alive and villains experimented on them (I know nomus are created from dead people but in this they're still alive sorta just very mutated like this (totally didn't take me an hour to make these pictures🤫)

I don't know I just thinks it's neat traumatizing deku more than he already is by turning his favorite hero into a nomu 🤷‍♀️

And maybe for more angst they can even see what they're doing but can't control themselves... I might have to draw this later

Saw some Nomu!Zawa floating around and I had to dig in! Based on the Seraphim and ophanim!

What kind of Nomu do you think the Dr would turn Eraser into?

Oooh good question. I think he would have more of a physical body than Kurogiri does, and be perhaps even less vocal. I think a quirk similar to Shoji’s could be hugely useful to combine Erasure with, and he would probably be unable to close his eyes, or otherwise not need to do so. Plus he’d probably be able to restrain Shigaraki better if he could manifest multiple limbs.

Honestly, I’d suggest you go check out @nartothelar‘s Nomu Aizawa art, bc I think that’s a super cool and totally plausible idea for just that.
