if anything, canon supports a more feminine reading of orochimaru, considering they were introduced disguised as a woman, said they don't care if they're seen as male or female, can and has shapeshifted into a female form, refers to themselves with 'watashi', was initially intended to look entirely androgynous, has long hair and pretty earrings, is called a 'mom friend' at points in retsuden (skull emoji), and is shown wearing kimono.

there's obviously something to be said about the way orochimaru being a 'male' who is feminine is used to emphasise their villainous actions especially when they are first introduced, and the connections that has to homo/transphobia (as well as That Part of that short high school ova thingie). but trans ppl on tumblr drawing their fav gay villain in dresses isnt the same thing as a prejudiced cis straight married man writing that stuff, lets be serious for a minute
