I think something that should be taught or have more recognition is the gender neutral term to address someone in situations where asking pronouns isn't possible because of quick interaction. It's common courtesy to say "you're welcome, ma'am" or "thank you, sir". I don't want to see the value of being personally addressed by a complete stranger die out from avoiding using such terms, especially in businesses where it's necessary for good rapport between service and a customer such as in retail.

for some reason i’m feeling all adfjdslkjfldksjf about my gender tonight, and first and foremost on my brain is the fact that I don’t have a label for my siblings or their kids to call me.

so i suppose i should start working on such labels for my enby gender label list.

does anyone have any suggestions or ideas for non binary “aunts/uncles” and “sisters/brothers”?

nothing i’ve thought of has sounded right so far.
