I've been trying to read more diversely (and so should you!!) and a great resource I've just found is The Transfeminine Review.
The Transfeminine Review is a trans woman-run website, dedicated to finding and writing about transfem books and literature. It has essays, articles, reviews, lists, and its own voting-based awards, as well as other cool stuff. If you want to read trans books or learn more about transness in the publishing field, this is a great place to start!
A small way to counteract the damage done by JKR is to put money and focus towards helpful causes. Hype up transfem authors, not TERFs!!
