Age of Sail Writing Resources

This is a resource blog for a semi-casual Discord server roleplay called Astrela. Our server is centered around a fantasy age of sail setting. Users have the ability to create their own ships and captain a crew, and so on. Though this blog is created and written with this in mind, I aim to educate a wider audience on information about writing age of sail settings too.

The moderator of this blog also runs @ageofsailsuggestions and @old-habits-and-all-that. You can call me KC and I use he/him pronouns.

I will be making informational posts about the sort of information one would need to write about age of sail, streamlined to make it easier for newcomers to the era can learn without being overwhelmed by all the terminology and plethora of information out there.

Update! Dec. 11, 2018

First post is in progress. However, I have a small essay due next Monday, and school is always going to be my priority. That being said it'll all depend how quickly I finish it, how much energy I have, how much work I have in other classes. Regardless, it will come soon.
