i’m looking for a specific kind of tea. it has become my life’s mission at this point.

#non dog #non sparta #my aunt used to be married to a Turkish man and I stayed with them for a bit #and every night he'd make me this turkish apple tea #that he brought back every time he visited family #and i've been searching and searching #and i can't fucking find it #it came in a styrofoam cup that's pretty much all i remember #and he's not in the family anymore and i lowkey can't stand my aunt so #i'm desperate #its driving me mad #i might just go fucking visit turkey myself at this point and cry in the streets until someone takes pity on me #it's been 6?7? years and i YEARN for this MAGICAL STYROFOAM CUP

There seems to be a trend amongst local farmers where they either completely switch over or diversify their flocks from the standard NKS of the last few decades, back to the older types and I am here for it.

Papillons?

This one's tricky, because on one hand I just think it's so sad that Papillons, simply for the convenience and sport of human beings, have been bred in such a way that most of them have lost their ability of flight. At this point, the vast majority of the breed would simply perish in the wild, as they're no longer adapted to hunt their primary food source of butterflies.

However, those that do retain the ability to fly have a clear and unfair advantage in sports such as agility. Rather than banning the breed from competition outright, I think we need to implement standardized testing to make sure that flight-capable Papillons are not used to cheat at trials.

There's also the added controversy with their cousin breed the Phalène, as many get the two confused, forcing many Phalène individuals to endure daylight hours which can be very stressful and detrimental to their health. They are, as most of us know, nocturnal by nature.

Guys I’ve gotten multiple messages in the past day about dog training and I just want to remind you that I am absolutely in no way the right person to ask.

I’ve only ever owned one dog, and she basically trains herself, thrives on positive reinforcement and gets despondent with any correction harsher than “ahem.”

There are so many skilled and talented dog trainers in this community and I’m not one of them.
