I have to share this for no other reason than I can. Also love the gifmaker name.
@gutsnstuff 💛
This. On so many levels.
I have noticed
A little thing about
You, because it's what one does
You dance
Between the lines
And I have trouble always seeing you
As I should
Sometimes, always, maybe
When we are what we are to each other
Right?
You sing and
Whisper so lovingly, mutely
Hoping that I'll hear through all the noise
And I should
Because those little things
Are just like mine, hidden, vulnerable
Softened at our edges
Intersecting, slipsliding, reaching
Time and time again into the shaded parts
And then you,
You notice my little things
Because it is what we do, being what we are
To each other

In case anyone missed it. It’s worth your time for various reasons.
Well, considering I have a job that sucks away about 40 every week, not too shabby.
Can we cancel this idiocy this year?
I notice I've been trying to pretend I'm fine. I am. I am not. I function.
Just exceedingly exhausted and the holidays didn't even hit yet.
And it's making me distracted. I can't focus. Though I'd like to. I have shit to do. Shit I want to do. My brain just skitters around like Scrat.
So be it.
Dean is my spirit animal.
Okay, so sue me for this, but I used this gif in an Inktober post a while back and it's been bugging me ever since.
Supposedly, in all the dumpster fire chaos, we will lose one member of TFW.
Now considering how often people die and come back on this show, there might be some juggling with this before it settles down.
Suppose Dean and Cas make up in such a way that brings happiness to Cas. We know where that leads. Straight to The Empty. Enter Dean, who chased his angel down Purgatory. Ain't no way in Heaven/Hell/Purgatory, he won't do the same here.
So on an intuitive level, my guess is it will be Dean. (I'm sorry, not sorry, yes, my heart is breaking too.) The quick and dirty of that guess is that he is done, tired, exhausted and has been for a really long time. If it hadn't been for having to save the world and trying to keep everyone safe, he would have retired to that beach with Sam and Cas ages ago. Narratively speaking to me it makes sense to... let Dean rest in peace, with some lovely love-piercing-the-veil heart-wrenching dialogue. Whatever.
I'm not sure Cas can come back from it twice, but I would hope so, just because he as a character deserves better than to be killed off.
That and I don't want Sam to remain behind.
Maybe it is Sam and Cas on the beach with a third empty deck chair...
When did this turn into another dumpster fire?
