I’m pretty sure the Creature’s hair grows faster than normal. I say this cause there is less then two years between Victor creating the Creature and his own death.
I’m not the best with math, but I’ve given it a go for this.
In 1855 we see Victor presenting his case before the tribunal. We do not know the month or day.
We start the film near the end in 1857, again with no month or date.
The humans hair would take around 2 years to get to 12ins in length.
So let’s say it’s January 1855, and Victor took maybe 4 to 6 months gathering and putting together his creation, adding he’d have to wait until around July and August for the right weather for a good thunderstorm.
So if he achieved his goal earliest in the start of July 1855 he would have to blow up the tower before or by or during August.
So the creature would have spent perhaps around 2-3 months hiding in the blind man’s mill and then after the family left and he joined the blind man, perhaps 3-4 months with the blind man before leaving to find Victor.
The snow would possible fall earliest October, latest December.
So we’ll say the Creature left to find Victor in December 1855, fancy Christmas time.
His hair looks around 12ins long by the time the wolves appear and attack the sheep while he’s hiding in the mill. Two years worth of growth in the very least 3 months.
Saying at most 6 months, that’d be 6ins of hair for a normal human in a year.
At the very least if he found Victor in January 1856, I’d been 6 months of The Creature growing his hair out and some how having it longer then 2 years worth of growth.
Also when we look at Victor’s beard by the time we start the movie, the least amount of time passed would be 2-3 months for a normal human to grow a beard that size while chasing the Creature since the wedding.
Which it could be very well over a year of them playing cat in mouse.
So in the end, the Creature’s hair growth is crazy fast. I’d theorize due to his regenerating abilities.
