Concept sketches for an oc from an original universe. Her name is Angelique De Sonno and she’s a well-known (and feared) crime lord
I'm at work and trapped in a car with my client (I'm a disability support worker) bc my door child locked (his is not but I don't wanna climb over him) and I feel like this is a metaphor for how my life in general is going
Thanks for 100 followers! Very Cool :)
I’m such an anxious bitch ass,, I really joined a discord server and dipped before I could say anything bc anxiety
bridgette + courtney !
Bridgette-- Klutzy. Somehow I can barely walk over a flat surface without tripping over.
I fell over during several important moments of my life-- like my graduation and year 12 formal.
Courtney-- worst job experience
OHHH HERE WE GO
so I worked at an Australian fast food restaurant that is the direct competitor of McDonald's, that I can't name for legal reasons.
Anyway, I worked there for 3 years, from 2016 (my second last year of school) to March 2019.
At first it was alright. I got in, I worked and got out. But slowly. The hours got longer. I was working until 1-2am on school nights, at which time the train had stopped and I had to hitch-hike back or stay at the store until the first train at 4am.
The hours got more frequent and I was working 35 hours a week while going to school--and at this point I was living on my own at 17, so I took as many shifts as I could to support myself on $14.51 AUD and hour.
Breaks were rarely a thing, we were sworn at and abused my customers. The equipment was falling apart and we ran out of stock often. The two top managers were hard-asses, one of whom didn't care if you were throwing up or passing out on shift, she'd make you keep working
The job ruined my mental and physical health, I have chronic injuries in my feet from standing in the one spot for hours on end.
The abuse we copped was unbearable, the assistant managers put under just as much if not more stress.
The worst part? Upper management didn't care. Whatever makesomeu was their attitude, we had people bullied by other managers, shifts cut and given to other staff members for no reason.
I finally quit this year and it was The best decision of my life. The only thing I'm grateful for is the friends I made while I was there
i talk too much about joshua rush but LOOK. MY FAVORITES COMBINED.
Watching every move you're makin' I'll keep my guard up Lie awake and now you’ve crossed that line I’m up all night I’m going to sleep with one eye open Introducing... ANTHY! She's a work in progress, but for now she's a college dropout who spent WAY too much time in theater class. She followed her passion for entertaining to local Renaissance festivals, where she works as a cast member, and eventually started traveling with casts. She's kind of an asshole who likes to fuck with people and thinks she's the smartest person in the room at any given time. She's manipulative, smooth talking, extremely perceptive... Would make a good con artist if she ever cared to be one. -------- I keep wanting to change her name b/c I think it makes the inspiration from Revolutionary Girl Utena way too obvious, but god it just fits her so well... I've got to work on this style a bit, but y'all OVERWHELMINGLY wanted to see something original so ♥ Honestly I feel like doing so much TD has made my art really. Stagnant. This piece was really hard to make, but it was so fun to put in the time and effort. I feel a lot more fulfilled with this than I do with 90% of my TD art and I'm hoping to do more in the future
