About RK1K as a pair having special powers/abilities that 60 and Nines don’t, maybe any 2 RK units whose total adds up to an even 1000 gets special privileges/have soulmate potential? So 60 is incredibly jealous of Connor finding Markus and also managing to find his matching pair. 900 is also envious but doesn’t hold out hope for finding an RK100 companion for himself (just finding 1 would be a miracle, much less finding the one that completes him)
Ah! The others have their own hardwired coding. It follows whatever number they'd make together with their soulmate.
60 (Kayden) doesn't have one simply because I headcanon he's with a human soulmate. RK900 (Ayden) does have a android soulmate.
