This is Nicholas Piberius Wilde (affectionately called Doodle Wilde or "DW" by me) as he's portrayed in my "Little Things" project (which is on hiatus until 2019 and may see a complete revamp). He is no longer just a doodle as you can see. These two are pieces/sketches that would normally be posted to my Master Sketchbook on Patreon, but I thought I'd share it here as well.

A lot of things about... Little Things has changed a tad since it's oneshot, sick day beginning. I won't give piecemeal information here about it though - once things are set in stone I'll do a proper post. 75% of the new story is already created in my head and I'm itching to work on it; as a comic yes, but more so as an animated short. I'll need to get an actual tablet to connect to my computer (as opposed to working off an iPad) and a program to animate in, but it's nice to dream!

For now, please enjoy a non-anthro version of Nick!

hey guys,

I just want to say...thank you, and I’m sorry. this summer has been unspeakably hard, and things are really only going to get harder for a while, and I honestly couldn’t bear to look at anything anthropology related. including this blog. anything that had to do with my future hurt to ponder or put time into, so i put off studying for the GRE, I put off searching for schools or emailing professors, I stopped everything with this blog really. and I just want to say I’m sorry for that. i’ve gotten asks that I haven’t replied to, and you guys are here for a content I wasn’t providing.

so thank you. for those who stayed and waited patiently and those who joined even during my silence. i am grateful for you all. i know i’ll need the support and passion of this blog to get me into anthropology again in a couple of weeks when classes start and i have to focus on grad school again. I WANT to. I love this field and it is my passion and my dream, I just...I had to change a lot of things in my life all at once, and transition is hard and scary and knocks you down for a while. and that’s okay.

anyway, here’s to more anthro stuff in the future. thanks again lovelies.
