Hey, just a little heads up!

The queue has been set up with confessions about a week out, so I’m going to close the ask/submission box for the next 48 hours while some of the older confessions get published. Sorry for the inconvenience! If you would like to see more posts on a daily basis (I try to have 5ish per day now) or there’s a time of day you think would be best to publish, please let me know in the notes!

Also, quite a few confessions phrased as questions have been submitted recently and if that’s meant to start a conversation with the community I’m fine to continue accepting them! If your asks are actual questions that you want answered by the blog, please begin them “NAC: ________?” (Not A Confession).

I work at Pizza Hut and i dressed up as Red Riding Hood but one of my tables came in and i saw this kid dressed as Marionette and i said “you guys can sit wherever you want but im so sorry i dont have my music box with me so i cant stop you from getting me!” and the mom goes “ohmigosh youre the first one to recognize who hes dressed as!” :D

OH NO it's another non-confession post aaahhh

Hi, dear followers! Thanks so much for your support and for sending in lots of confessions lately! There's a few things I wanna let you all know in light of our increased activity. :)

Over the past few days, we've been receiving quite a lot of confessions expressing discomfort over the homophobia, transphobia, sexism, etc that pops up on the site. They've all been pretty similar. Like I said in a recent ask, we don't like publishing confessions that are the same sentiment over and over, so I've put just one in the queue for you all. Also, if you ever see someone on BZP being gross in that regard (homophobic, transphobic, sexist, etc), the staff absolutely wants you to report it to them. Especially if it's a staff member doing it. Believe me, they dislike these gross people as much as you do.

We've been receiving some "confessions" that aren't actually confessions, as well. Just so you know, as funny as some of these have been, we won't post things that aren't confessions or questions.

LASTLY, some of the asks haven't been making it to our inbox. If you haven't seen your original confession (or a very similar sentiment) pop up in the next few days, feel free to resend it!

I feel like this blog is becoming less about actual BZP confessions and more like "I have a grudge with someone on tumblr, and feel the need to anonymously talk shit about them"

Actually, agreed. The inbox has been flooded with them over the last month. For every one of those that I publish, I delete about 5 others that are either the same sentiment, or not really a confession so much as they are a generic or passive-aggressive statement about whatever is relevant in the Bionicle tag at the time. I don’t think we’ve gotten a non-repeat confession about BZP itself since the one about the sexism debate a few weeks back? I hear you though; I’ve already planned to hold any original confessions that are specifically about the Tumblr community until we get some more BZP ones. Thanks for bringing it up!
