I put BN on in the background getting ready to do dishes, and I really listened to the opening for the first time in a while.

And.

Tom Card et al tried to strip him of everything to force him to be the tool they wanted. Even killing his father when the man showed some hint of decency and care for Michael.

But in doing so they trapped him with the people who actually love him. They forced him to spend his time with people who speak to his better angels. They forced him towards connection.

They tried to use his deep seated need for acceptance and belonging to drive him towards them. Instead they drove him towards his actual community, actual connection. And that community ultimately freed him being a tool of the state

The amount of disbelief I’m willing to suspend is directly proportional to how entertaining the show is. If a show is barely able to hold my attention and has betrayed my trust before, fuck you, that’s not how cutting someone’s head off works.

If I’m glued to my seat every week and can’t stop watching, then yes, absolutely, the professional athlete in a blond wig is indistinguishable from the 17 year old lead actress.

Michael causing a strategic traffic jam to get the bad guy and calling it the easiest thing in the world...just makes me laugh about the time some MAGA guys drove tractor trailers from Oregon and Idaho to try and shut down the Beltway, which is historically shut down due to traffic incidents an average of 10 times a day...and failed.
